East Fremantle 16.9.105 def Armadale 9.15.69 - East's starting to improve week after week.

D-Morley 22.7.139 def Belmont Dist 9.8.62 - Will the Bombers win a game in 2013?

Carlisle 0.1.1 drew Nollamara 0.1.1 - 2nd game called off this year in this grade. Not good for footy full stop!!!!

It's still shaping up to be a real even competition so far and I think the next few weeks could very well shape the top 5 teams.

Was it before half time Hobbsy that the game was canned?

Surely the ammos needs to show some balls and heavily punish clubs associated with games called off! I dont know anything about what happened but a $1000 fine or more should Enforced. That would severely affect a club in the lower divisions because they generally have less funds etc. it is embarrassing to hear about this every week.

On another note, did spaanderman play for Noranda? They must have some money after he was on $500 a week with a country team earlier this year and has made a name for himself by shopping himself around in the WAFL. Again surely the ammos need to investigate.
Would be handy tap ruckman in this grade but not much else. Cant take a mark and loses his cool too often.

I think the WAAFL have a few issues to sort out here that's for sure in relation to games being called off. By sharing the 2 premiership points can cost clubs. Say for instance your fighting for a spot in the finals and your team needs the 4 premiership points to qualify. Your 10 goals up at half time then the opposition decide to go the biff and the games called off. Both clubs share the points and you miss the finals. How fair is that system?

I think who ever is in front at the time the score should count as this promotes some clubs to do the wrong thing. Secondly I recon clubs should wear a very heavy fine if a game is that outta control it has to be canceled. I'd be ashamed if my club lacked that much discipline that games needed to be canceled.

I just don't think it's very good for this great game of ours for matches to be cancelled each week. Come on clubs sort it out!!!!

That's a fair call mate, I'm just saying something needs to be done here that's for sure. In all the footy I've played I've never seen one single game called off due to one reason or another but thus year in C3 there's already been 2 matches called off. I don't know the reason Nollamara and Carlisle game got called off but you'd assume a fight broke out I guess. Just disappointing for all the volunteers who work there asses off each week for there respective footy clubs only to see there league game called off at half time.

I hear what you are saying hobbsy I am one of those volunteers that bust there arse week in week out and our club was involved in one of the games that was called of and we were absolutely gutted about it but sometimes you have no control I agree something needs to be done but what do we do and what do you think the cause is.

If the carlisle and nollamara game is finalised as a draw, expect to whole lot more draws.

Nollamara player was given a red card at half time, gave the umpire his opinion and when he finally walked off the ground he tried to fight a carlisle shirt wearing guy on the sidelines, he connected with him a couple of times.

Umpire saw this happen and called the game off. The guy he was hitting didnt even respond, would hate to have seen the repercussions if he started swinging back. I dont really know what this guy did to upset the nollamara player, was word of him smiling or something but it doesnt make sense for someone to react like that to someone smiling.

If the amateur comp calls this a draw then whats stopping every team from trying to start an all in brawl when they are down at half time?

Nollamara weren't down by much and from what i had seen could well have won.

The score should stand if the game is called off.

From what i saw the nollamarra player was giving the umpire an absolute gob full as they walked off at half time, so the umpire gave him a yellow. The player continued to abuse the umpire so he was given a red card. The player responded by threatening the umpire and standing nose to nose with the umpire and at one stage i thought the player was going to headbutt the umpire thats how close they were.

The nollamarra player then had a crack at a carlisle player where he threw a few punches not sure why and then had a crack at a couple more spectatctors.

This guy should not play footy again this year he is soley responsible for the game being called off.
