The telcos need to ban crypto mining in Australia. Even China is banning crypto mining entrepreneurs setting up in China because it’s cheap. They realise you can run a small city on the power it takes to mine crypto currency. Without a doubt that effects our download speeds.

Crypto mining like Bitcoin uses an insane amount of processing power therefore a lot of mbs. These crypto currency miners set up overseas where electricity and internet is much cheaper. They make money from processing transactions. Don’t ask me how it works.

I’ve been told that Friday night footy on Kayo is still just the ch7 telecast with the commercials and all, and same goes for live broadcast Eagles and Dockers games? Whereas with Foxtel you will get those games without a single commercial still?

TOO--one cant confirm any of that, of cocurse, but given that Murdoch controls both, it is almost certain that he would structure kayo in way which did the least harm to foxtel; in short, make certain that the coverage on foxtel is superior.

I think you’ll find that the telecast is the same as Foxtel TOO. I watch a variety of sports and can’t think of one where I’m driven mad by ads.
Foxtel owns Kayo.
