Sounds about similar to what I was getting. And I. Also lived in Bayswater for a few years, no nbn was available at the time and ADSL was a joke. I was probably spoilt in Wanneroo I was told by iiNet I had the fastest ADSL2 speed he’d ever seen.

Bought a place in Midland in Jan 2018, was relieved to see NBN was available but it’s nothing flash IMO. Maybe need to try another telco. So you’re with Optus Baz and get u/l up to 50mbps and includes Fetch and Optus sport for $90?

Question for those doing all this streaming, is there a limit to how many programs you stream/download at the same time? Obviously with Foxtel I can record two things and watch a third all at the same time. Then I have a Panasonic PVR can do the same.

I imagine the more you stream at the same time the longer it takes and maybe effects quality?

Also can you series link on Kayo?

As I have a reliable 200/50 fibre connection with unlimited download, (and less government restrictions) I can stream pretty much anything, but have retained my access the ABC Australia TV service. This shows 6 AFL games per weekend, with ad interruptions only during normal breaks (1/4, 1/2 time etc). Other games I can stream, as above.

All this (plus 4G phone) for about $45/month.

This is a speedtest just done:

A straight 1000/100, unlimited fibre plan is available for less than $50/month.

Yeah mate, the old ADSL was utter crap, 3Mbps or nothing at all sometimes.

Kayo allows you to watch 4 games at once on one screen if thats your thing.

Recording is a thing of the past, everysingle game is stored and available for you to go into and watch at any time you like, further more its available in multi formats, full game, mini match. highlights and a goals only package ( Optus EPL ).
