The capacity is only 55k for cricket due to the blocks of covered seating used for the sightscreen.

WACA had a members reserve, this consisted of the very large portion of the upper tier, the area was cordoned off to public, I would say that at the very least 30% of these seats failed to be taken and remained empty for the entire match, explaining the lower than expected attendance. I can only put this down to the fickle membership at the WACA which can be quite elderly and might of been put out by having to get to another venue.

Baz Ben Jenkins has his streaker fine easily covered. He's now up to $5,380.He's made a small profit.

He's also been charged with trespass which carries a $12k maximum fine and/or jail time if convicted...highly unlikely he'll get either maximum but it's available to the beak so he's not out of the woods just yet.

You know the old saying " a fool and his money are easily parted" . How anyone in their right mind would consider donating money to cover the costs of someone who has behaved like a complete knob when there are so many other more worthy causes around. How about handing $20 to one of the homeless people on the streets Colin ??? or to medical research
I for one won't be remembering this bellend when I am reflecting on the first day of the stadium.

Good on him, although I don't really approve of pitch invasions, I was pretty sure there would be a streaker day 1, and he will cop a big fine and 3 yr ban cricket only I think. What I will remember was the hopeless security and the totally unprofessional way he was coat hangered around the throat, which is a total no no restraint wise, and I were him having given himself up and offering no resistance would be taking action against the security firm.

Wont even be close to that BC, in my experience it is around the 1000 buck mark give or take a few hundred - might be charged with Disorderly Conduct for the nude run as well , but maybe not.

I hope they throw the book at him. The police have his face book posts where he was asking his mates on the Friday before the game what they thought of him doing a streak. To then lie to the media and say he was put on the spot by peer pressure makes him look silly.
Being pre meditated I think they will make an example of him to deter others. ACB has already given him three years from any cricket ground in Australia,
