If Bangers doesn't play in first test then it is definitely Conspiracy, not theory,but fact.
Marsh? Well he has given himself a chance but may not yet be enough. Good to see him make some runs but he can't bowl yet.

The team will be announced on Wednesday apparently so tomorrow will be the last day for players to push their case. I thought they might wait till the end of the shield games.

Beat me to it BC, after this and his 2 scores against the test attack last week, they cannot ignore him now. It will be interesting to see whether he replaces Renshaw or bats at number 6.

That's a good question Mike...a bit of a conundrum for the selectors. I'd like to see him open but think they might give Renshaw another crack.

Also Renshaw has just been dismissed for 1 in Queenslands second innings so he has scored virtually nothing in the 3 shield games.

Boof and Smith stuck their necks out last week when they said runs will be the determining factor in getting a game...let's see if they stick to it.

Surely Bancroft is a monty now for a test berth....can't see Renshaw getting a gig TBH...he is the future for sure but seems to be struggling big time....Warner and Bancroft right/left combo, one a goer, one a stayer....good variety there....number six is the conundrum now.....I see Smiths little buddy Daniel Hughes got 98 not out.....mmmmm who knows?

Hughes is the logical one, he bats 6 so he knows how to form partnerships with a tail. No point picking Cartwright because he bowls, 2 overs for 20 runs against SA isn't worth bowling at test level......
