So just wondering what the general opinion is out there of Trump's performance over his first 100 days as President of the US?

I'm pretty disappointed myself....

The coal miners are very happy, more jobs and pay rises. They are the blue collar workers who voted for him. As for a lot of other stuff he is finding out how difficult politics can be if certain people don't like what you are trying to do it doesn't seem to matter if you are the President and won in a landslide, certain people will do everything possible to block your attempts for reform.

Any judge can block his executive orders it seems which just seems crazy and I don't know anything about Obama Care to really comment. But I think on an international level I think he is doing good, speaking out but also showing he is prepared to meet and listen to other powerful world leaders. I don't think Trump is the loose cannon some like to portray him. There are many other nut jobs out there in the world we have far more reason to worry about.

As opposed to what Grassy? The bludgers who are happy to take their pay cheque and PRETEND they are doing something? Trump is making other nations who sit back and do nothing about rogue nations like NK and butchers like Ashad who mutilate their own. Is China going to keep supplying NK so that spoiled little nut job can threaten the rest of the world?

Had some good and bad, reading about the workers in Penn, are very happy with him and coal mining jobs coming back. Overall they support him more than before life is coming back to their towns.

Pity he could not get the Obamacare abolition through, that's clearly a failure to date.

Stockmarket is going well - signs of growth.

As for foreign policy, you can chuck all this in the Obuma basket, he was hopeless for 8 yrs and everything you see now is a result of his in action . North Korea has developed nukes and missiles at will , he gave a licence to Iran to do the same. Syria was a red line he never enforced, so its going to take a while to get things back on track. From what I can see the more assertive stance is the way to go.

I suppose the main thing I find disappointing about his first hundred days is the growing amount of broken promises. From my last count it is up to about 80.

He must not start a war with North Korea. He must do a Chamberlain and get all his ducks in a row both in Congress and with the other great powers should North Korea do something silly. Any military response must be strong enough to deal with the missles and protect Soeul at the same time. I would offer him a peace treaty in return for giving up the nuclear weapons, a treaty which should be guarnateed by the great powers. I think China will isolate North Korea over time if Trump keeps insistting.

In domestic matters, irrespective of whom is trying to play George Washington, in the President's chair, no matter what that person's party, the US has a grave constitutional problem. In particular, Presidential decrees should be stopped, they are illegal; a sign of Presidential over reach. Any change in policy must go through parliament. This will stop the courts from interferring. He should pass legislation banning sanctuary cities. Immigration, the political left should remember, is a federal responsibility and it is incumbent upon state officials to work within federal law. We should keep in mind that the last time sectional interests refussed to obey federal laws -- the 1860s -- there was a Civil War.

A/R it is my understanding that State Law generally has precedence over Federal Law. That is very much where the "Tea Party" nuts come in. They basically don't won't any Federal Government involvement.

As for D Trump: he speaks at about grade 4 level and behaves accordingly.

Unless the President can secure a better trade deal with China. It will be hard to make America great again.
Last month 47 billion of trade was done between the US+ China.China purchased 10 billion of the US and the US purchased 37 billion of China.Thats a 27 billion deficit in one month. The Chinese must think there's only 1 Obama in a lifetime. From a Chinese point of view ,lol

We all have to accept that there are many idiots living in the world today. Always have been and always will be.

Our only hope for a peaceful and prosperous future for our children is to do the best we can to make sure these idiots never get near any position of power of any sort.

Unfortunately in the US currently and in some other countries around the world this has happened and we all have to hold our breathes until they are gone.

Hold our breathes that those around them can influence these idiots in the correct, peaceful directions our world needs.

Fingers crossed...
