Mark McGowan cut his first ribbon today as premier opening the new Aubin Grove train station. Colin must have choked on his Sunday eggs benedict. Get used to it Colin.

Next on the list will be the
2. new Perth Children's Hospital
3. Perth Stadium
4. Stadium footbridge
5. Kings and Yagan Square
6. A host of new railway lines.

Pleasing to see a Premier of Western Australia without the smug arrogance.

It's self serving to bask in the glory of someone else's hard work, but let's see if he has the balls to do something constructive on his own. BTW, is our Mark in Australia??????? Haven't seen him around for sometime.

Sure is hard work getting the Parker pen out and signing all those contracts. Pity Colin didn't work a bit harder and look a little closer to the detail before he signed the contract for the footbridge which has jeopardized the opening of the new Perth Stadium. New government takes the initiative and takes control of the new kids hospital to end the Mexican standoff the previous government was playing with John Holland.

I'm sure Colin enjoyed cutting a few ribbons for projects started by the previous government.

Probably gtr but the main reason explained by Ben Wyatt was they wanted John Holland to put phosphorus through the water system to provide a coating in the brass fittings which John Holland refused to do. The government's advice from experts is this will fix the problem. It is believed the lead is coming from the brass fittings. John Holland will be billed for it.

And by taking over control of the hospital allows them to begin the getting the hospital at a stage where it's ready to take in patients, the whole bloody idea of it in the first place.

McGowan should not be allowed anywhere near the new Perth Stadium....after all he went to an election with the premise of ignoring it and going with another half arsed rebuild of the tired old Subi site!

Gross hypocrisy and arrogance if McGowan gets his name of any of those projects after all the sh#t piled onto Barnett and the threats to cancel contracts if he had won the previous election.
Perhaps the Gov or the Gov Gen would be more appropriate.

Lol groping at straws a couple of you Colin Barnett will go down as the Premier in charge of the greatest boom this country has ever seen in any state yet we are now the worst performing state in the nation and on track to reach 40 billion in debt. Mark McGowan has been handed a mess and got his hands tied behind his back expecting miracles to turn it around.

Barnett just went berserk like a teenager with Mum's credit card. Any buffoon can spend money, it takes discipline to spend it wisely.
