Good to see Agar have a great game with the ball and bat Australian & WA cricket need him to reach his potential ASAP.
Totally agree with Freeze in regards to Wells just not up to first class level we would be better off getting first class games experience into young blokes like Inglis, Carder, Hinchcliffe, Short et al.
Would be good to see young bowlers Makin & Nicholas get some more exposure at that level also with Paris out injured long term maybe at the expense of Rimmington who has been a handy servant but nothing more.

What can you say about the Warriors?? 3 straight defeats to start the season. Langer has "cleared his desk" and is starting again apparently. I think his statement that players had been more focussed on individual performances to attract the attention of Australian selectors at the expense of team success is quite staggering to be honest. The fact that there are no WA reps in the coming test is an indication of the stupidity of that approach. You work for the team first and foremost and higher honours follow as a result of this.

The Warriors were thrashed by 9 wickets at the WACA by Tasmania despite three centuries by individual players and a 5 wicket haul for Berendorff.
The problems have been a complete inability of the top order to get the team off to a decent start, Bancroft and Klinger haven't really fired a shot this season. Also they have lost clumps of wickets in short periods and there have been very few long partnerships. If not for the union between Whiteman and Wells in the 2nd innings, the Tasmanian game would not have gone into the 4th day.

Also the bowling apart from Berendorff and Agar has had no penetration and they consistently leak runs at more than 4 per over.

There is still time to turn things around but the worry is that the Warriors have not played Queensland or Victoria as yet who have been the form teams this year. Maybe the selectors need to bite the bullet and start introducing a few youngsters from the development squad. For a start I would like to see Will Bosito get an extended run.

I don't think there's any need for panic yet Grassy. Langer has actually done quite well over the past 4 years. They won a one day title and have made 2 shield finals which were played on roads in Canberra and Tasmania. I just think they need to go back to basics rather than worry about outcomes. They are on their way to Townsville tomorrow so maybe that unusual road trip will develop a bit of team spirit and resolve. Also they will have Mitch Marsh and Agar available for this match.

Mike I reckon Bosisto has been a disappointment to be honest. I know he is still fairly young and has time to turn his form around but he has hardly scored a run when given an opportunity for WA and his premier cricket form is nothing to write home about either.

True enough BH, just had a look at his stats in first class and list A games and apart from that century that he made to save a game against the Vics last year, its very poor. He must have some talent though as he was in the Aussie under 19 squad.

I see Marsh failled batting at number four which will not be a suprise to anybody accept, possiblly the people whom run WA cricket. When was the last time the selectors picked a player or players from the A-grade competition on form? In other words, players whom are not already contractted?
