The man is a freak of nature a bit like Phelps, just incredible, I really hope he makes it out to Gold Coast for the CG , I'm going over for it I think ..

Also its great that the Commonwealth has done so well in the Olympics, Britain number 2 on the ladder and Jamaica dominating the sprinting, Canada and the other West Indian nations have some great Athletes.

Baz he said London next year was his final sprint meet. But is showing an interest in long jump something his coach would not let him do up to this point.Just his being there in Gold Coast will be a boost for the Comm Games. If he does sprint in Gold Coast he will fill the Stadium.

There we go folks a gold at last....in the pentathlon!.....Well done to young Esposito, 5 events storming from 7th possie to 1st in the last event.....hopefully the likes of a few swimmers, hockey players, cyclists etc can get some inspiration from Esposito performance for 2020.......silver to Tallent....got a bit too excited when he hit the front with 10km to go apparently!......the BMX fell apart at the last hurdle as well....though you know things arent going to flash when you are looking for golds in the BMX to boost your coffers!....LOL......

I know it is top level end sport but I cant remember an Olympics where so many Aussie athletes have entered a meet or a final as a top seed and succumbed at the final hurdle.......be interesting to see where the money goes for 2020....

B'ball team is nothing short of a train wreck right now. One of the biggest chokes in Aussie sporting history, can't remember a bigger one in my lifetime

Bit harsh DW, yes very disappointing not to be in the gold medal game but they have the chance to still be the best performed Mens Olympic basketball team if they can beat Spain in the bronze medal game and become the 1st ever medal winning team.
