My god how thin skinned have we all become.Nobody wants to be responsable for there actions any more.Its depression or some drug that done it.Another 1 Phil Walsh son.Just to much leasure time and money thats all.

I don't particularly like watching and listening to Gary Lyon and I rarely turn on the footy show or footy classified but I do think he is entitled to some privacy in this even though he is a public figure. Unfortunately media and other people who only know part of the story are all too quick to rush to judgement and crucify the guy when only people who are close to the parties know the truth behind all this. This is a personal issue and it shouldn't be the subject of constant speculation from ill informed people.

Of course genuine Depression is a tradegy no question.

It is also a great " go to" option that some would go to to avoid questions etc, as mental illness is a no go area.

Whilst I don't disagree with your sentiments here mikeh the irony here is Gary makes his living constantly speculating about the performance and misgivings on and off the field of others within the football family.

Sheet, it must be a slow news week. As long as your family is not affected, who cares who's rooting who and who's paying the rent??? I don't like either of them as media personalities, but the press needs to leave them alone so they can deal with their personal demons.
