So the seppos are coming board? I guess that makes all the difference, after all, we wouldn't want to disagree with our American masters would we?

I have to admit soccer just doesn't do it for me. At any level.

I have tried many a time to watch/get into it with friends who follow it when tournaments like world cup are on, but to no avail. It's like watching a football (AFL) match where no one scores. Boring!!

I always had the opinion that if you got rid of the goalie, it would be much more exciting to watch. :P

Scores of 32-28 much more appealing as far as I'm concerned. Each to their own as they say...

See ya point Ruddiger, i like "most" sports at the elite level. See basketball is a high scoring game, that i personally find boring as batshyte!!

Have allways liked Cricket.Just love the BIG Bash. The game last night at Adelaide Oval in front of 46,500 fans was just something else.Even purchased a DAB Radio for my car so can listen to NTS .Otherwise if not home watching 10"s coverage listening on the Cricket Australia mobile app.The Scorchers where fantastic the way they pulled back the run rate after the first 10 overs in Melbourne. Then the openers where something else. The standard of BBL5 is very good and getting better each year.Keep going Scorchers..

Great idea ruddiger. I'd watch it if they did that.

Sometimes the anticipation and tension of getting that elusive goal or goals ( for me) outweighs the boredom of basketball we go up the court score, you go up the coust and score.Spose it why i like a tactical 5 day battle of a test rather than the smash bang of 20/20. Its all personal choice eh. Mind you NOTHING was as boring as the recent Windies so called "test" series

Tend to agree with the basketball side of things. Too stop-start for mine. Time outs make me turn the tv over....

And yes Unk, I know that I have had soccer friends state that some of the best soccer games they have watched have been nil all draws!!

My daughters a WACA member and she took me along to the double header on Boxing day.
Thoroughly enjoyed both games, the women's game was terrific with the Scorchers girls winning with a couple of balls to spare in the last. The big English lass Edwards I think, who is the English skipper? was sensational with 61 of 50 odd, she didn't run too much just smashed 4's. Shame more weren't there early to watch it.
The mens game in front of a full house was a great atmosphere but a bit one sided, all in all a day of great sports entertainment.

The Scorchers look a batsman or two short to me and were exposed last night when Marsh and Klinger failed for once. Voges coming back will help although they will lose Marsh after the next game so that balances out. I think they need to bring back Carberry to bat at the top of the order. If Whiteman is fit he could come back in as well. If Agar is not going to bowl he shouldn't be playing as he isn't good enough to play as a middle order batsman IMO.
