I think Adam will be back, his ego is too big not to. But only after the rest of Australia lick his boots and beg him to return...sort of like what happens in school. I do hope he comes back though, he deserves to go out on a better note than this.

cyril rioli just got booed while having a set shot…. stay tuned as he will be fronting the media soon and taking no further part in the game and will be taking some time away next week.

Funny you should say that, Rioli is a much bigger stager for frees/ducker than Goodes and the booing may last for a quarter or so but certainly won't follow him wherever he goes for the next 6 months. Debunks that theory for a start.

I had a look at Goodes stats for this year and have come to the conclusion he has realised his career as a AFL footballer is over.
So lets go out with a bang. Avg of 15 disposals a game.. not many kicks.




Shame he will be remembered not as a great footballer but as a Agitator and not a good sportsman.. I loved the guy but after this I have no respect for him whatsoever..

The sad part is I've alway admired his ability and never noticed what colour he was until he started to shove it down our necks.

Amazing the number of amateur Psycho analysts, character commentators and keyboard warriors who have been very quick to pass judgement on a man they have never met. As far as I am concerned any player who can survive and thrive in the AFL for as long as he has deserves all the accolades he can get. In our democratic society he also has a right as we all do to speak up about issues that he feels passionate about without being shouted down and vilified.

Cardy, surely you can't say he won't be remembered as a great footballer?
In his prime he was a super star, an agile running machine who could do almost anything. Some of the things he did were just brilliant. Yes he was a diver for a few years and he dodged a few tribunal bullets, half his luck, but I can't see how anyone can ever question the mans football ability. He was the type of player I enjoyed watching to be honest. The other stuff shouldn't come into his performance credibility.
