I recall Ed Blackaby who was a very clever rover at Swans in the early 80's got sick during one season. Even though he recovered and I think played again, never reached the heights that he had before.

He was the 1980's Koutafides - went back home Crayfishing I think from memory , was better than Wrenstead by a mile

Stasinowsky when playing with Perth under Brownie in 1986 against Swans at Lathlain was one out of the box. He hadn't been sighted all day, but in the last quarter he personally kicked 6 and Perth won by a point. Remarkable talent.

Good call Mike Ed was plagued by illness and injury unfortunately.

Ian Williams- SD another we never got to see the real best of due to persistent injury but boy could he play great footy on his day.

Neesham and Melrose joined Swans in 79, and played alongside Olsen. Olsen was cleared the following year, in 1980.

Gary Fathers at Subi was cut down by injury.

Melrose was still at NM in 79 he joined Swans in 1980!
