Can anyone think of any other players who were cut down in their prime and either never played again or never reached the heights forecast.

SF- John Todd, Ray Bauskis
SD- Mike Smith, Luke Pratt
SU- Michael Mort, Laurie Keene
CL- Peter Davidson
WP- Rod Alderton
EP- Ken McAulley
EF- Brian Needle, Mark Olsen
PE- Wayne Simms, Darren Rigby

John Coleman & John Greening in the VFL spring to mind.

Brad Smith from Subi...was dominant in the WAFL but what could he have achieved in the AFL? I guess we'll never know. Morabito at the Chunder

Chris was a very talented player. I remember him sparking a West Perth fightback from a long way down at Bassendean one day which resulted in a one point win to the Falcons and a bad mood for me!

Dont forget your namesake MO cut down in his very first and only game for Old Easts!
Freeze has never forgiven us as we got Melrose & Neesham for him!

I saw Stazza kick 11 goals in one game at Subi Oval on one leg from full forward mate - still remember that left foot goal while at WP as the goal of the day (1981??)

Yes RIP he was a freak a very talented freak
