Freo's 5th best midfielder better than eagles best - no surprises there!

It's easy to get carried away with the performances of the 5th best midfielder of a very good team. Eagles supporters know, they parted with a 1st round draft pick for collingwood premiership player wellingham. Its worked out famously. I am sure there are freo fans who still remember them going and getting brisbanes 5th bestt midfielder in Des Headland that worked well too.

The guy can play but at 176cm not sure he will ever be anything more than the 5th midfielder

Priddis won the Brownlow fair and square because of a thing that happens with the draw. You play good football against the sides around you or lower than you, you, pick up votes. You play enough dud teams you pick up votes. Priddis only pocketed votes against lower sides, didn't get votes against the better teams. He can play, but the system is going to throw up results like that.
At least he has a go, unlike so many of the other stars they talk about. A few sleep with the lights on for sure.

come on 30+.....Ablett led till round 19 and he was injured in round 16 and missed 6 weeks and trailed behind Priddis by 4.......the form Ablett was in and how much the umps love him, it's only common sense to suggest his shoulder injury stopped him from another Brownlow win.....but hey the record books say Priddis won the Brownlow....kudos to the fella.

I think people need to move on from this fellow.

For the record on another topic recently I said I would pick Neale over Priddis. I don't see any reason why I would change that opinion.
