My guess is he will probably appeal this to a higher court given his previous history BC. His cheerleaders will also encourage him to do so no doubt.

So we crash. Looks like 2 years each therefore Ryder cant leave nor others poached except those who arrived after 2012 season. Hird should now be dumped.Players will still be paid leaving Dons short of a quid.. Could be a bye next year.

This club would have to go down as the biggest disgrace in Australian sport, is there any scandal that equals this in Aussie sport, can't think of any maybe Trevor Chappell and the underarm incident even that's drawing a long bow.

What a disgrace, sucked in - hope they broke.

Just spoke to a bloke who is well connected. He reckons James Hird is gone. Won't coach Essendon again. Good riddance, disgrace of a bloke. Paul Little needs to be marched out the door right behind him.

Essendon, Hird, Mrs.Hird and Little are to stubborn to just let this go. Expect it to keep dragging on through the courts. It could take years.

As for the Essendon players, I sense they will take similar offers from Asada like Cronulla players did. They will have to live with that cheat tag, but many will see it as a way to keep playing football and make money.

Until that decision is made by the players, other clubs will be reluctant to take them. But when its done, there will be a flood of talent being recruited by 17 other clubs. It is a disaster for Essendon, they are totally screwed. I feel for the supporters more than anything. But most of them are at fault for backing Hird too. That was a huge mistake & totally biased. They should have demanded he be moved on immediately, but they did not.
