Thank you all for the advice on which team to follow, the jury is still out.

WP and CDFC have formed a good off field relationship. I spoke to our CEO about it on one of my trips back there last year, he was very positive about it and looked forward to making it stronger. Now more than ever our two leauges need to stand together to beat the evil that is afl. Was it WP that wore the union jack gurnsey last year and do their supporters love to sing and chant at the footy? (CDFC fans do love a good chant)

Leedy, the great John Duckworth is a cult hero at CDFC, and always will be. He was our 2nd Mag. medal winner and leading goal kicker in '79. Could often be seen outside the changeroom having a smoke at half time. I was super stoked as a kid to have his number 19 on my back when I played a game of mini-league. HE IS A LEGEND!!

Chappy played 144 games for the mighty CDFC and is still with the mighty CDFC as an assistant coach to our god Roy Laird (7 flags from 10 seasons as coach). An excellent club man and some believe will be our next senior coach.

Some would say feral...but we're only having a bit of fun. This was filmed under the grand stand at footy park, in the bar area, before the 2008 GF. The smoke is from a flare that was let off...a CDFC trademark perhaps. Spot the pommy influence.

For some reason, West Perth have't truly got to grips with what they should be doing out at Joondalup with their English migrants.

They dipped their toe in the water for one game last year, wearing the union jack, and 6,064 people rocked up.

They should be promoting their club to the local Northern Suburbs Poms week in, week out.

Wasted opportunity.

We all get stuck in the WAFL/WAFC for not promoting the comp and rightly so, but jeez, the clubs don't do much to promote it either.

Hahaha..nah, plenty of suburbs like that in Perth though.

Joondalup is fairly nice in comparison. Largest English percentage of any area in Australia apparently. It stretches from about Whitfords all the way up to Clarkson and Mindarie and beyond.

You visit a pub up that way and my accent is virtually the only Australian one.
