yep...it's a joke which is no longer funny. it's analagous to the yanks patrolling their border with mexico and turning them around in droves. you don't hear a peep from hairy ar$ed bleeding heart brigade....the yanks even have vigilanty groups running around in the desert with guns arresting illegals as they see fit. can you imagine the outcry here from SHY, swan 42 and co if you, I or anyone else decided to take an armed boat into the Timor Sea and started telling people smugglers to go back to Indon?

I have to wholeheartedy agree with you BC and Cess. As for SHY the media should bypass her altogether. She has absolutely nothing to enhance the debate one way or the other on this or any other subject. What is our parliamentary system coming to allowing idiots like her to gain election?

If you are talking about TOWING boats back to Indonesain waters, that would be unequivocally ILLEGAL.

Perhaps you might learn a little about the UN Convention on refugees. Once you have done could you please come back on to this forum and state unequivocally that they are legally entitled to do seek refugee status in Australia.
