DD according to the BOM.
Any humidity level above 60% is considered, uncomfortable.
Humidity being the amount of moisture in the air. With the Fremantle Doctor both dropping the temperature and humidity level.
Thats where the old saying Troppo ,comes from. From far northern Australia when the relentless humidity drives people crazy.
Hes or shes gone Troppo.
The condition was first diagnosed by Australian Army doctors in the early 1940's ,up in Darwin .Then in Pupua New Guinea.During WW2.

Talking about the weather about how hot or humid it is, it is summer and I don’t think it’s any hotter than way back then. BUT I do think the winters don’t drop temperatures like they used to. Perth would always get a zero temp or a 2 or 3 temp at least four- or five-times during winter. Riding my bike from work at 5.30 6.00 there was this winter chill. Washing my beloved SLR Torana at 6.30 on a cold winters night the dew settled on the car virtually straight away, I would be in a hurry to pick up my girlfriend and off to the drives. The dew on the windshield was a pain not to mention the Sandman van in front of me that was rocking with his cb aerial up. Winter turned into spring then summer arrived and so did the easterlies. The Torana rocked and rolled at the drives, it wasn’t the rooting, [mind you I did take the ferret for a run on many occasion] it was the easterlies. We don’t get them like we used to do we. The Dale line was the worst, Park line was the second worst for the dust that would blow from the easterlies, always started around 10 or 11 o’clock. So is it climate change, probably, is it global warming, probably, is it man made, probably, are we being bullshitted to, probably.

Actually, found temps really pleasant Saturday and Sunday. Don't mind a bit of humidity. Water temp at beach Saturday was perfect.

As for 40 plus jam that.

Perth winters now a pretty much gone, we get half the rain we got in the 60s and day time temps are way higher, very few really cold nights..its more like a long Autumn.

I think this summer has seen nothing out of the ordinary. The late twenty 23/ early 24 summer being far worse. The previous 3 January's have seen no rainfall for that month, whereas Jan twenty 25 saw 4 or 5 mms in the guage. Then again  different areas do attract different conditions. All in all this summer just been normal thus far.

I think half the problem is that as soon as it gets to 36degs, the press go mad and make it sound like a disastrous event.

21-22 was hottest on record with 13 days over 40, last year was 9 days, this year we are up to 6 so far.

Then we must have had a record number of 39° days or highest average temp because it feels disgusting. Maybe it's the high humidity.
