Nines coverage of this Olympics is the worst I've ever seen. Unless you've got time to sit in front of the telly all day and night it's near on impossible I find trying to find the events you want to see. The Nine Now app is rubbish it's just too fkn hard to find the events you want to see.

If you go on Nine Now and click start over for the days events you think you could fast forward but unable to or rewind. Just a joke I'm done. Pathetic channel 9.

Agree, I can't tell what the hell is what half the time, if its live or just a replay, jumps all over the place, have not bothered with nine now as it has some stupid log in set up.

Ally Langdon gets annoying after a while, no idea why she is doing sport, they have shortage of quality sports callers, nothing beats Dennis C doing the swimming previously.

Does not help that most of the action happens 3am Perth time.

I think I just watched my first live event and I've been waiting for this. Women's BMX rider Saya Sakakibara won a very emotional Gold medal for Australia. What a story. Her brother who was the reason she took up BMX suffered life changing injuries in a BMX event before the Tokyo Olympics then Saya got knocked unconcious in her final at Tokyo. Now she's come back and blown the field away to win Gold. Amazing story and well deserved.

She dropped a few f-bombs in the post race interview. She said she told herself "just fucken go". How very Australian. Well done Saya.

Saya won all her heats, semi and then the final on her way to gold.....I think about five races in total. Yes DD it's a great background story, that just show's the young girl's determination, resilience and fortitude.

Cam McEvoy's gold in the 50 Free as well, was a great achievement of persistence and self belief.

Kaylee Mac winning the 200 Back as well was a superlative effort.....the ladies efforts have carried, not only the Aust swimming team, but the whole Aussie effort so far.....with a few more in the pipeline such as the high jump, Jess "the GOAT" Fox in the salom, Nina K in the pole vault, 3x3 Basketball girls, Hockeyroo's, rowing and cycling. The men may redeem themselves in the Wind Surfing, Sailing, Surfing, Cycling,Tennis, Diving, Hockey and Basketball with some medal chances.

The French are killing it too, a home crowd always seems to get the host nation a few more medals than first anticipated....heaven help everyone in LA then for 2028.....

Wow what a steal for Channel 9 the Olympics are.
9 Network payed the IOC ,305 Million dollars Australian .To be the Australian broadcastet of 5 Olympic games.
Brisbane 2032
LA 2028
Paris 2024
Tokyo 2021,,Covid Delay.
Rio 2016
Tv ratings are just under 4 Million viewers per day so far..Probably slow once our femail swimmers, finish in the pool..
NBC ratings in the United States are huge.Up over 50 % on Tokyo.Over 33 million viewers per day,.so far.
Dont know what it costs 9 to be on the ground in Paris.Quiet expensive my guess.
But Brisbane and LA will be huge events for the Olympics.Like Paris looks to be atm.

Well fuck me they'd want to pull their socks up their coverage is piss poor and the ability to go on the 9Now app and watch a replay of an event is hopeless. Why can't they show the events and make us watch a couple of ads so we can see what we want to see like a kayo mini? The only way you can do it is record everything on 9HD and 9GemHD and fast forward but that's going to fill you hard drive in a hurry.

As I said before I've tried clicking on start over and fast forward but you can't.

Gee The Hockey has been very disappointing, both Men and Women out in shock loses, this is the men's worst Olympic Tournament since 1956.

Follows on from the Matilda's flop performance.

Teams wise that leaves Basketball still hanging in and Waterpolo.

Search Arisa Trew on YouTube it showed her gold medal winning run in skateboarding. Just 14 years of age our youngest medal or gold medal winner in history. Incredible. Totally opposite to the earlier skateboarding event where everyone was falling down. She apparently messed up her first run so would have bolted in if she didn't mess up the first run.
