It seems to me that somewhere along the line I must have missed an event or something that changed what is important in the scheme of things in the world or just Perth.

Why is our news dominated by crap abt the royal family, bikies (it seems to be a recruiting campaign with the way they are being glorified), and other such National Enquirer crud.

Who really cares abt dragging up stuff from twenty years ago, abt missing children in Portugal and the like!

This is Perth or broader Australia, how abt we worry abt things that effect us, droughts, mining, elections and important NEWS and not Melbourne truth/new ideas crap!

I have a very simple solution to get rid of the news stories about the royal family from our newspapers; Australia becomes a republic.  In that way the lie that David Flint told on Alan Jones's programme this evening that Australia has a current Australian as our current head of state would become true.

Republic?  No way.  We’d end up like the corrupt and “greatest country in the worrrllld”.  Who in their right mind wants that??
