COVID = Complete Intentionally Violating Ignorant Dickheads (AFL)
Part of Australia (east coast) didn't give a shit about COVID. Just appear concerned & she'll be right Jack. Boats, borders, slack rules, dumb Premiers, when do I stop? Then the money hungry AFL are broke. TOO top heavy & TOO greedy. Too interested in losing money from TV rights & memberships. Just look after the top Victorian clubs & it will right its self. As expected a player cops the virus & the comp is stuffed. Will Essendon be put into 14 days self isolation or only let the "non" infected players play.
If the AFL had any guts they would have made each club responsible for their team. Any delay is costly so Essendon should have been stood down for 14 days & forfeit those matches.It is NOT other clubs who should have to squeeze in a mid week game or play potentially infected players. Gil & his gutless sheep should wake up as if a player from an opposing side catches this virus from an infected club then the AFL are negligent in providing a safe working place them..

The AFL has a fair portion of blame here for firstly allowing this player to travel & return internationally and then discovering a home inspection when really there is a quarantine hub in place

Player is an Irishman returning from home, tested neg when he arrived then tested pos after training session even though no symptoms, all other players/staff tested neg and will be tested each day. Probably do what NRL did and play a nighttime mid-week. Bit of an impost on the other team but the WA & SA clubs are copping it with being forced into hubs or having their game delayed until 8.10 pm like the Dorks tonight. The Vicco teams currently have a massive advantage over the WA/SA teams so they need to suck it up and deal with it.

Given it's Essendon he probably injected himself with it.

Looking like a house inspection has been uncovered whilst a person is supposed to be in a closed quarantine hub set up to prevent contact outside of the game

Essendon player Connor McKenna had returned from Ireland.It's unclear ATM if Connor spent 14 days in quarantine. In WA he would of spent 14 days in quarantine.
Connor tested negative to Covid-19 on Wednesday. But then tested positive on Friday.
On Friday Connor trained with the full Essendon squad.And later that day had a weights session with 7 of his teammates.,indoors.Given the way this pandemic spreads.His 7 teammates from the weights session will be infected. And the full squad will require 14 days of isolation. Away from there famlies and who ever they live with.
By no means is this an attack on Connor McKenna. He governed by the laws of the AFL+the Victorian state government. Who's Andrews going to blame this insodent on.WA-SA or Ireland or Queensland.

This Irish bloke has been back in Australia for a month and had tested negative 5 times beforehand so he has contracted it in that cesspit of a state Victoria.

As for the latest that he could have contracted at house inspection then so much for that chest beating Vic comp having players quarantined from the rest of society, remember this is the mob who pulled their listed players from the State Footy Leagues like the WAFL, SANFL etc because they could supposedly more readily control the "professional" afl listed players lives under strict conditions hahaha.

Hey BH.The latest I just heard on the radio.The player in question went to a house auction last Tuesday.In inner city Melbourne with another 100 people.And it's believed the virus may of been caught there.

Is going to house auctions allowed in Dill's afl Covid-19 apparently "strict conditions" set down for their so called professional players to allow the afl season to forge ahead GTR?
