Looks like McKenna has admitted to breaching the rules on a number of occasions and will be dealt a heavy penalty no doubt.
Given the situation in Victoria, the logical thing would be to send the Victorian clubs into hubs in other states where they would have to quarantine for 14 days. That won't happen thought due to the cost involved. If 10 Essendon players come down with COVID the competition will probably come to a shuddering halt again.

If a heap of bombers come down with it then it's Essendon that should suffer the consequences not other clubs who are doing the right thing. The Bombers just forfeit their games until the club is declared cv19 free by independent health authorities, not by Gill the Dill. The comp continues on with games between clean clubs. It ain't rocket science.

Totally agree, we were assured by Gil that all measures were in place to prevent AFL
players from contracting the disease.
If the player has broken the rules and gone somewhere he shouldn't to contract the disease, ban him. - 2 years
I have said often on here, expecting players to do the right thing is a leap of faith too far for me and they continue to prove me right.

Baz not sure they care too much what the season looks like as long as they get a season in and grab the TV rights money, thats what this is all about, but if another club gets infections then it could be curtains.
