I listened to the 57 GF with my Dad who was a mad Perth supporter. He said to me, “son, that’s what our footy is all about”. From then on I became an EF supporter. Maybe I should have taken the name of 57shark.

74 my first ever GF live.....79 definitely in terms of quality in both teams plus the atmosphere of that record crowd...totally amazing.....85 from my hospital bed at Charlie's on the radio....98 flying back from the UK to watch an EF side that lost only 2 games for that season....glad I came back to, considering it was EF last flag.

I always had a soft spot for OLD EASTS, Bob Johnson, Ray Sorrell. I remember saying to Ray, Mel Whinnen sends his regards, Ray said, gee he was hard to play on.

Hey thanks BC, we must catch up with a beer when all this crap is over. We are all good, my son and i are still working, my wife who is a Councillor cant work, shes bored. Talking about past footballers, gee wasn't Peter Eakins a good footballer. Keep well all.
