I don't have the patience to watch TV series these days but when I first got Foxtel I got hooked on The Sopranos long after it ran on TV though didn't see the first series I don't think and missed the finale due to some recording clash.

Another one I have watched on Stan twice is Deadwood long after it was on TV. Unfortunately it only lasted 3 seasons due to falling ratings and ultra expensive cost of the set. I believe they've made or a movie but one of stars has since passed away so he would be impossible to replace. Absolutely brilliant series.
