The draft is still 2 weeks away Mike so I guess any potential recruits may become more clearer once the draft/rookie draft have taken place on November 27/28, at least we hope.

yes, hopefully once the draft is finalised we get some recruits from somewhere, cant go into 2020 with the same squad.

the boys have started training so hopefully the Subi CEO and coach have assessed our training schedule as suitable.

Jeff Garlett may be one they look at if he is not redrafted

I guess Palmer could be considered a new recruit for SD next year.....will be big effort by the guy after his life threatening injuries tho.

Is Notte going around again?....huge loss when that fella pulls the pin....like Ames, Notte is very much the heart n soul of the SD footy club and the WAFL too...

Havent heard much about Rhys's progress or whether he is really contemplating a comeback. The issue may be how serious his head injuries were from the motor bike accident and what level of risk that puts him at in a contact sport.
I remember the life threatening Luke Adams injury in 2011 when it was clear that his footy career was over but he recovered to the extent that he was able to get a uni degree and live a normal life.

As far as I know Notte is playing in 2020 Freezin. I really feel for him that he didnt play in the 2010 premiership side because he is the ultimate clubman and he deserves to retire with an accolade like that and he won't get the chance again in his career unfortunately

I heard that preseason for swans players started with 1 month of self training and just need to meet some KPI’s after the month? Pretty good concept I guess.

I have heard from a very reliable source that Georgie Boy has been appointed as the fitness consultant for the bogans, and has instituted a strict program of "do as I do".

The results should become self-evident early in the season.

Thanks for your interest guys. I do find it somewhat disturbing that a couple of Subiaco supporters seem to know more about Swans pre season program than the Swans coach and supporters. But we should probably be flattered that such royalty would spend their time thinking about an inferior opposition team rather than focussing on their inevitable 2020 premiership, is it all getting a bit boring guys?? Surely not......
