He would want to get significant improvement from the entire senior squad next season and a marked rise up the ladder or he will not see out that term!

Back Pickers in cos to be honest hes been given nothing in terms of player recruitment or player retention. Losing Ellard Dean and Palmer to injuries and Simpson to the club policies of no employment no play. Clutterbuck Slater etc etc the list goes on.

For Swans to have any hope the Board would have to show some balls and ditch Smart.
Other clubs have seen the light and not bothering to have a full time Football manager.
Perhaps he could just go on mowing the lawns for the Directors of our Sponsors as part of his role.

Smart is another given little or no support to recruit by the board. Winning flags with the notion of "from within" is BS.

You are seriously misinformed as to his delegated responsibility and his ability.
He is the root of our problem and the current playing list is testament to it.

Wytik, Slater, Clutterbuck,Simpson,Garlett,Payne,Jukes, Cary, Houghton,Newman, Yarran, Crowley,

Plenty of misses on that list but you aware that Cary and Jukes were out of the ammos ?
Need to get your facts straight if you are going to bag someone, they were probably they only decent ones Smart has got from outside the swans zone and Noble has been handy.
Payne has been solid, don’t see the issue with his recruitment.

Any bloke that plays league footy has money spent on him.
If you reckon you could find better footballers for free then you should contact the club !

yes all footballers have money spent on them, bu not the extent of pampering we went to. back to the bad old days of just paying blokes extra to train because they lived on the other side of Perth, when we said enough they both left.
That money could have been used on others more worthy.
