You have a problem with everything that doesn’t suit your agenda
Make sure you send the club your list of guns willing to play for free

Smart has to recruit with a limited budget and blokes either body is shot or taking a gamble.
Simpson had to go due to him not working
Wytik Slater Clutterbuck for next to nothing (one of these guys paid their own transfer fee)
Garlett yes was given chances and blew it
Payne is playing good footy
Jukes from the ammos cost nothing
Cary cost nothing and doesnt have the passion for WAFL
Houghton chased the $$$
Newman says he wants to come back never does
Crowley yes didnt perform to the level expected (body shot)

What they pay a senior player (I wont say the $$$ amount) gets a good player/somebody whos loyal but other clubs are paying more and get a better quality of player. Its a matter of "here this is what we can afford" so attracting some really good quality is hard unless guys are not interrested in $$$

And how are they paying more when we all operate under the same salary cap.
The ones you mention paying their own way, was in fact an agreement to repay the father when a certain amount of games were played.
Smart wastes our money with large up front payments to duds as listed.
There is money, we just waste it.

The WAFL are piss poor and dont police the salary cap as they should and focus on the points. Theres a massive difference between what we pay a "10 point" player and what kind of "10 point" player can be got with the money.
Your right about the money as the club always cries poor but its wasted on womens toilets and community engagement (blowup castles etc).

Very hard to police a salary cap if players are being paid outside the books of account.
It is easier when you pay with paper bags.
The problem for Clubs like SD & Perth is that they don't have the cash or cash flow business.
Harder to disguise once the cash flow business has stopped producing the cash.
Although I am sure there are ways of producing cash.
You are correct certain Clubs with cash flow buy a better 10 point player.
I have complained in the past that Perth have 10 points players playing ressies.
Hence we hope the measures may help in the meantime.

Irrespective of cash or no cash DF....Subi would of never wasted 10 pts on a fella like Papertalk like Perth did....stupidity at its greatest right there......surely Australia wide there were better 10 pt options then good ole Callum.....

STT it was a dumb arse decision.
One that won't be made again.
You don't waste 10pts on reserves players.

On a positive note, Swans have appointed an experienced sports scientist to oversee the strength rehabilitation and conditioning programs at the club. Ted Poleglaze has recently completed a PHD with premiership coach Brian Dawson and has a lot of experience in a range of sports. This is a good move as if he can even be responsible for a small improvement in the way players prepare both in pre- season and between games, it will make a difference in some of the results.
During the first half of last year when Swans were competitive, we ended up losing a lot of games because we couldn't run with our opposition in the last quarter, the match V Subiaco at Bassendean was a classic example when we were 4 goals up late in the 3rd quarter but were overrun in the last. If Swans can build up their fitness to a greater extent in the preseason with the help of this professional expertise, there may be some better results on the way.
