Well I have to admit I didnt see that win coming but more than happy to take it and pleasantly surprised especially by our 1st half which was as good as we played against WP earlier in the year.
It has to be said though that was some of the worst, most biased umpiring imaginable in the 2nd half and especially in the last qtr and the 3 officiating were obviously trying their hardest to get WCER the win.
Hopefully we can finish the season off well now with more of the same effort and intensity along with far better movement of the footy in transition from the back half.

That's interesting about the umpires BH as you won the free kick count 16 to 13. I wasn't there so I guess going by your comment they must have missed a few or paid some to WCER that they shouldn't have.

BH was obviously not watching the same game I was.
In difficult conditions in the second half I didn't see any problems with the umpiring.
IT was good to see the Eagles fans flocked to the game just as Nisbett promised us they would,
What a joke that they put a rope on the ground to ensure their fans don't crowd the huddle. At Qtr time I counted 6 coaching staff, 13 support staff and not one spectator.
I did however spot a lady in the walker stand with a blue and gold scarf, but then she may have been left over from Claremont womens team.
On the footy side Swans decided for the first time in weeks not to play ring a ring a rosie with the ball and actually kick the ball even though there wasn't anybody to go to.
There is a lot to be said for the chaos ball rolling around in your forward line.
It makes backman more nervous than athletics officials watching a cross eyed javelin thrower.
A good win. The 5 year plan is working already. lol

If Swans were a racehorse they would be swabbed after last week's abysmal effort. It's amazing what a week makes.

Certainly is amazing what a week makes. Swans going from 152 Ball Disposals per Goal and the 7% offence rate of last week and not much better stats from the week before that. Fast forward across to todays match is outstanding. Swan Districts first half being first class. Their second half not as good. The Disposals per Scoring shot being 11 in the first half which is quite exceptional. After the long break it ballooned out to almost 22.
If they keep playing like today, Swans will give Subiaco and Claremont something to think about in coming weeks.
Fantastic to see a W next to Swans name..

Completely different attitude intensity and effort from last weeks disgraceful performance against SF to yesterday Roman.
Bringing back Doc & Waz also helped in the personnel department with a little bit more experience, grunt and skill.
I also thought our young players benefited from that and one who really showed a bit was young Beck who is only light but used the ball well.
If only we could bring that every bloody week!

Firstly a great win by the Black Ducks. Good job.

Secondly a big thank you to the 14 WCE supporters who game to Basso to support the WAFL. Those 14 represented the 55000 WCE members who couldn’t give a stuff about anything else unless it’s in the AFL. Your team wasn’t even playing at that time.

PISS WEAK.

They actually have over 80,000 members JTT (and over half a million social media followers) which makes the pitiful turnout by them even more piss weak

Fuck them off, I told everyone it would be another piss take, just wait until they have serious injury problems and the 120+kg Amateurs are running around for them.
