Sorry boys, fuck I'm disappointed as I was expecting something similar or close to this Anton Saylor pearler in 2012, this is what you call a grab !!!

Will be interesting to see Claremont v ERT this Frid nite at Leederville to get a view of the Tigers first time this season and see how ERT respond. Great to be 3 up on the club formally known as East Perth but they will still be hard to beat this year

Mark of the year, won't see any bigger this year. In fact I haven't seen much bigger ever from my vantage point, an absolute classic

Liam Ryan accepts your challenge.

Good stuff Bennell, the WAFL needs more of this to get people through the gates.

Well that didn't take long did it.

Liam Ryan head surfing again

Was a beauty Heater agreed but the kid has gotta start protecting his noggin on re entry...face plants are not an effective landing mechanism ;)

Wasn't as big as Tony's grab on Roddas shoulders imo as those two are talls so naturally Tony got higher, nut it was a great grab, not the best though. I think Anton Saylor has that mantle

Watching Ryans mark again and it wasn't as high as first though as he was only on a midgets shoulders plus hecdropped it, I would rate Bennells a better mark, better ride, higher, and more of a classic grab. But kudos to Ryan for having a crack

both fantastic marks TBH...Bennell wins the horizontal category and Ryan the vertical category....

Considering Sutcliffe is listed at 186 cm...I would hate to see what Swandog classes a dwarf then...

Beats me how a Swans supporter can attempt a troll on a Swans thread... but I won't dare contradict the resident expert on the topic

I'm with you on this one Freeze. Both marks are great advertising for our fantastic comp. No matter you club allegiance there is no need to talk either of these marks down. They are both brilliant efforts. Thunderous applause all that is necessary here.

As a side note did Ryan finish off and kick the goal?

Absolutely right, both marks were sensational and a great advertisement for the WAFL.

Yes Liam went back back and slotted if through, not as far out as Bennells so you could say that his was an all round better effort considering how far out the kick was. Liam is also a beautiful kick and can also kick them from long range. Disappointing when the ill advised say it's not a mark when was clearly within the rules, I guess some part time supporters are not 100% on the rules of our game but that's ok, all are welcome.

Clearly a mark Heater, a brilliant one at that. Good to see Ryan didn't get dizzy or concussed from the face plant landing and slotted the goal. I'm still 50/50 on the Michael Mitchell effort back in the 80's. He didn't bring the ball to ground. Ryan did so its a clear mark & simple decision
