Not that I know of BH, but as Mark Olsen explained and I didn't realise this, nominations for the draft can be held on a list for a number of years and these boys would have perhaps registered last year and it was carried over.

Good timing, Greg Harding sent a update to members today, apparently Levi Ridley is coming back to the club which is great news and they have also recruited a key forward by the name of Brayden Nobel from Trinity Aquinas. Looking at the squad on the website, only Simmo seems to be missing from last years group although I have heard on the grapevine that some guys from 2016 may be looking for opportunities elsewhere.

That's good news for the Swans folk. Apparently Ridley started playing in Swans colts, has played many reserves matches and a handful of league games for Swans I'm told.

I just had a look too and was surprised to see Chris Yarran listed (the Richmond one). I would have thought we'd have heard something.

In any case, I suspect we've been in touch and listed him, but he's yet to make a decision and/or commit.

What else could explain us consciously updating the website with his details? They don't do so every time an ex-Swan is delisted or available.

When a WAFL player retires or is delisted from the AFL does he not automatically go back to his original WAFL clubs list UD?

I wouldn't have thought so. Even if he did, I don't see that, on its own, as a legitimate reason to update the squad on the website.
