The coach done his banana at 1/4 time. The 1st game player no 35 was gang tackled with no team mate support.Rude of me not to remember the young mans name who done well,Croatian surname.
If the players where not trying they would just walk away from the club as others have already done this year.Swans just cant play flow on or run on football.Time after time a mark would be taken half back, centre, half forward .The player would go back with no run on handball or leads ahead of play. Some switching of the play went on but Perth by that time had all leads covered.Line running midfielders in the ressies or colts give them a go.
Perth probably turn over the footy to much to trouble the top 6 sides at the moment.Would like to see where that side is in another years time.If that team can keep its squad together for another year and add a bit more over the next summer. There looking pretty good.

I see no point in moderating this thread tonight. The players obviously don't give a flying fung about the jumper so why should they be let off the hook on this site. That was insipid heartless football out there today. Embarrassed to be a swans fan tonight, simple as that. Watched the 2nd half from behind the interchange and saw in each and every one of our players a genuine lack of interest as they came on and off the ground. Fitness levels also appear to be atrocious amongst the majority. Never really considered how much of an impact Swoop moving on would have but clearly the weekly rocket and roast he was giving half the team not being there has a few too many players way too comfortable in their own skin. Harding is clearly aware of it going on his qtr time speech. Serious culture problem within this team at the moment regarding their application towards playing football. Has me believing the generation 'ME' is in full effect. If I was Harding I'd have stung them with a training run after the match in front of the Swans faithful who paid to come watch them play today. Some action of a desperate nature is required because what we saw today in all but the second quarter was a team going through the motions. I take nothing away from Perth, they did what they needed to do but I witnessed our boys turn it up today, something I've never witnessed from a SD team before. No more excuses please or I'd suggest those that are offering them can excuse themselves. Today was humiliation. The club could do worse than offer free admission for the rest of the season to anyone who paid to attend today as I doubt very few will bother to attend again in 2016.

Walking out that's as flat as I've ever felt after a loss! To be 1 point down at half time against a team who doesn't know how to win and only kick 1 goal for the remainder of the game is shattering to all involved!!! We are seriously lacking in all facets of the game and the excuse of injuries and youth doesn't count for a lack of effort and fitness!

Agree wholeheartedly with what Mike, MD & DW have posted above.
Today was as poor a performance as I have seen not only from a SD side but from a supposed WAFL side in the last 36 years.
Starting in the Colts who had a good win even tho we did our level best to throw it away where with a minute to go Swans won a free kick for holding the ball and only had to keep control of the footy for the next 60 seconds but unbelievably another Swans player selfishly decides to play on advantage despite the fact he had 2 Perth players standing next to him you dont have to have been there to know the result of that and from that stupidity which resulted in Perth regaining the ball and from the resultant forward sorty having a shot after the siren to win it. As DW quite nicely put it the ME generation of more interested in gaining a meaningless extra stat on champion data rather than putting the team first!
Secondly in the Reserves I could not believe my eyes also in the last minute when with ball in dispute on our outer half back line with us leading by a point a player ran to the bench with his opponent racing into the Perth forward line by himself by more than 50m which only took a Perth break from the stoppage and it would have been game over complete mindless garbage and sums up our club this season luckily for us it was averted.
On the League it is a complete indictment when a first gamer shows the rest of the team up on heart and desire and that hasnt been the first occasion this year as witnessed by Logue earlier in the season. Some major changes have to take place between now and Round 1 2017 as what I have witnessed in 2016 has undone all of the work that has happened on and off the field since 2012 in fact the players should be ashamed to accept any match payments for that complete no effort today!

I feel for some of you Swan blokes this season. While we haven't been that much better it seems what you guys are going through in 2016 is what us Demons supporters have been witnessing for a long, long time. I'm by no means taking the mickey when I say this but while it may seem bleak at the moment, you will be back playing finals sooner or later and probably a lot sooner than the PFC will be.

I'm also feeling for you guys, because I believe you have the alleged Mandurah team next. They looked bloody strong yesterday, and the WAFL must be proud of themselves for creating this situation. For the good of.... What was it again? Oh yeah, 1% improvement for the afl teams. Great.
