OuterSeagull if Swans get relagated to the A Grade WAafl and the Winning premiers get elavated to the Wafl.Does the elavated side get a Wafl zone both metropolitan and country. With a small salary cap how does the elavated side become competitive without the zonal component. It just cant work you will have to live with us,lol.
The elavated side could not be competitive for more than half a dozen games. And would lose by 20 goals every week in all grades without players to replace the injured ones at Wafl level

Southerner there are some reasonable South's supporters, including your good self. However, the same alas can't be said of those of the ilk of Bazza. If I recall Souths have had some down times as well.

What was on display yesterday was an indictment of the WAFC: no more and no less. Anyone who thinks that there is any degree of equality in the WAFL competition after what the supposed East Perth club fielded as a team yesterday is certifiable.

Unless the WAFC show for perhaps the first time in living memory a desire to remove the jaundiced nature of the WAFL competition at the end of this season the WAFL competition will be defunct by 2020. Supporters of most WAFL clubs are not going to continue to support a competition where there IS NO CHANCE OF BEING COMPETITIVE season in season out. What the two devils incarnate, Eagles and Dockers, have done to the WAFL competition is reprehensible in the extreme and their partner in this crime, the WAFC, should hang their collective heads in shame.

Too right mate you can add Roman & Doggie as well.
As for the football nuffy-Barry as has been said before we are 8 weeks into a season not even the half way mark still a long, long way to go and if things do go awry for SF late in the year the poor old SF President, CEO, Coach et al will be copping the usual annual tirade from the football nuffy who had some karma come their way last night with Sydney going down and after the final siren too! :pinch: :)

I think the alignment is only one of the problems we have in the WAFL in my opinion. It's all about $$$$ only Subi and EP have any.

Great to see you back on this site Larry. The curly headed defender you were referring to is Griffin Logue and he is a ripper, whole hearted and takes the game on.

Interestingly our State 18s rep boys didn't and or weren't allowed to play in the Colts tonight but both Logue & Clarke also in the WA 18s were allowed to play in our League side?

Logue, Clarke, Fisher (Perth), Thorne (Peel), all played league today, didnt play in the 18's intra club this morning. No players who played this morning played colts later in the day.

Cheers GC I was wondering why ...are they unavailable from now until the 18s finish up?

I have no idea how it all works re availability. However, if they do miss a few games it's not all a bad thing as it gives other young blokes a chance to have a crack.
