Will be interested to read the comments of the supporters who witnessed that. I will say though that the club really has to hold its nerve during these dark times and recognise that some good young players are being blooded this year. The time to assess the progress of the team will be at the end of the season. Hopefully the club is not tempted into a knee jerk reaction because of results like this.

Today wasn't as bad as last week mate. The lads have great effort just weren't or aren't good enough!

To be honest BH there has been little conversation on the SD board since I agreed to moderate. As long as the posts aren't personal attacks on fellow members, contain inappropriate language or slander against individuals as we have seen on this site before I see no reason to remove posts (apologies again to mikeh for accidental removal of his post) We are all adults who love our WAFL footy and should be able to tolerate a little banter without blowing our stacks. Footy has a funny way of biting one on the arse when one gets ahead of themselves so I have no real drama regarding posts so far from TOS and Bazza as they enjoy their moments in the sun whilst their clubs are flying. The SDFC is a strong community and our team and club will find a way to bounce back from recent poor form. I have no doubt, we are the mighty fighting black and whites after all. It may not happen in 2016 but it will happen.

As for TOS suggesting we get farmed off to amateurs one could suggest that Subis Colts team are removed from the comp and players returned to strengthen their junior clubs or local amateur clubs who will probably do a better job at developing them anyways   ;)

Yeah mate, no problems with your interpretation there, wouldn't mind if some of their stuff was original and funny for a change. Like watching a rerun of a TV series for the 6th time

I think the alignment is only one of the problems we have in the WAFL in my opinion. It's all about $$$$ only Subi and EP have any.

Great to see you back on this site Larry. The curly headed defender you were referring to is Griffin Logue and he is a ripper, whole hearted and takes the game on.

Certainty to be drafted and continue our strong breeding ground of AFL players which is part of the reason we are where we are.

Interestingly our State 18s rep boys didn't and or weren't allowed to play in the Colts tonight but both Logue & Clarke also in the WA 18s were allowed to play in our League side?

Ok so this progressive goal line means by the end of the season , swans should be at least kicking 1 goal a 1/4...

Mike most of our board including our CEO have played and or been around football for a long time and would have a decent understanding of the current situation on the park and wouldn't head down the path I think you are alluding too. Although having said that I would still prefer to see the correct 22 chosen to represent our League side each week which I know is currently not the case at the minute.

After 10 or more years across both Footygoss & now ozfooty the one common denominator with the football nuffy (Bazza aka Swans & South) has been that he is completely incapable of posting anything whatsoever to do with the football played on the park. When he's not trolling here it is poor old Bobby Maumill who cops his inane dribble over on FB!

Maybe. Two of our match winners today, no one wanted them. Joondy only came sniffing around after all of the work had been done
