They can replace Geappen who has retired and Broad who will get drafted, I'll let you know what local players missed out on a game at the end of 2016 and you can do likewise for the Sharks

Broad will get rookied at best.... hopefully locally too , so he can play against his "beloved" SDFC for Peel or even better EP.......well sort of "play" like what Blakely, Hughes and Clancee do when Peel v SD.....

I am gutted EF have recruited Crichton....rather a Snadden, Bennet or Harrold get a league game instead of Jesse next year.....sounds like you are pretty happy to have Crowley on board.....looks like Harding is reverting back to SDFC recruiting strategy pre 2010....didn't think the local blueprint was working too well TBH...well for Harding footy CV at least....

How would you know about Broad ? Have you seen him play in the last 12 months ?
Tipped by recruiting bloke on afl website to be 1st mature age player taken so we will see what happens.
Swans pick up Crowley who costs no transfer fee and the same with Taylor as Claremont had not listed him so all we have to do is pay them salary cap money, the transfer fees are what Swans can't afford, forking out 15-20k for blokes got us in trouble in previous years.

Any good to have you back in the Swans forum Frosty, hopefully you can get to 1000 posts by the end of the 2016 season on what locals Swans are and are not playing, I look forward to it.

Told by a Swans director on the weekend that keeping Davis will take more work than getting Crowley as they have made more offers.
Told last year by Swans footy manager that Davis offered $300 more a game by Subi.
Not fussed whether you believe it or not but you must think that Twomey and Robinson appeared out of thin air at Subi and you blokes don't chase players but that is ok

Hearsay just as I thought. But anyway if true davis for crowley is a fair trade...

Broady deserves a go at AFL. He looked elite and a class above WAFL right throughout 2015 , ask Yarran, with blistering pace to go with work ethic and decent height. Ticks all boxes . To me was the most outstanding and important player at SD in 2015 who not only shut down the oppositions quickest forward of all sizes but provided most of our attacking rebound. Davo was the other who split the game open for us and if we lose them both they are going to be mighty hard to replace. Where will our hard run and attack come from? Riggs can't do it all. We desperately need ball magnet Faulkner to rectify his kicking accuracy. That will reduce turnovers by 10-12 in number per game. Hopefully Crowley can help with that Riddoch needs to develop and improve big time if we lose Davo. Has the potential to be the most damaging player in the WAFL if he can improve his tank and confidence levels.

Why would Davis be a swap for Crowley??
Crowley came from Calder Cannons, therefore he is not a Subi player.

fark MO that post sounds very Kiwi like mate......so freakin sensitive...I love coming on here MO.....it's a public footy forum open to all n sundry to talk footy, irrespective of team allegiance......1000 posts it will be then mate .....got no probs with Swandog, BH, yourself or any non EF fans coming over to EF site with depreciative quips about the EFFC....all fair game.....

... never said Broad wouldn't get drafted or not good enough to get drafted..... Adams, Menagloa, Yarren and Broad are all good mature chances from WA.....hope they all get drafted TBH.....just read that spots look tight....and historically youngsters get first sniff....though I hope Broad shows a tad more than what Boekhorst did for Carlton this year ....how in fark Blaine got drafted where he did is mind boggling,,,,"saw" the fella play v St Kilda in Wellington....fark he was soft.....there's Paddy Cripps years younger showing him how it's done.....what the fark was that all about?
