Contracted players can move, the transfer fee is unlimited tho, it's usually the contract amount plus a transfer fee which is nothing to Subi which is obviously why they are trying to buy Davis and Tropiano out of their clubs.
Pathetic for the rest of the comp that one club sees money as the way to buy loyalty but that is life in the wafl

From today's West Online:
"Delisted Docker Ryan Crowley will play for WAFL club Swan Districts in 2016.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year deal to continue his football career at Steel Blue Oval after being axed last month by Fremantle.

Crowley’s return to the WAFL is still dependent on whether he receives an AFL lifeline.

The tagger has nominated for this month’s AFL national and rookie drafts and can still be taken as a delisted free agent until November 26.

WAFL premiers Subiaco had also made a concerted pitch to recruit the 188-game Docker, who won a premiership with the Lions in 2004."

But wait there is more on West Online: "Delisted Fremantle tagger Ryan Crowley has signed with WAFL club Swan Districts as a player and midfield coach for the next two seasons.

The 2012 Doig medallist has committed to joining the black-and-whites in 2016 if he is not taken by an AFL club as a de-listed free agent or selected in this month’s national, pre-season or rookie drafts.

Crowley has signed a two-year playing deal in a dual role that will involve developing a young midfield group at Swans.

His return to the WAFL comes after being axed by the Dockers last month following 188 matches in 13 seasons.

Fremantle chose not to retain Crowley after the midfielder served a 12-month suspension for taking a banned painkiller and breaching the league’s anti-doping code.

Crowley will be reunited at Swans with former Fremantle recruiting manager Phil Smart, who originally drafted him to the Dockers.

Smart said Crowley had got a taste for coaching during his time out of the game this year.

“Training with a lot of the young blokes that were playing at Peel, that certainly sparked an interest in him,” Smart said.

Swans coach Greg Harding said the club was under no illusion that AFL clubs would still consider redrafting Crowley.

“His body is in fantastic nick after not playing any footy for the past year,” Harding said.

“For us to be able to find someone of Ryan’s quality and experience is really exciting for everyone at the footy club.

“We just think with Ryan’s ability to come in and work with these young kids it’s going to hold us in really good stead.

“What midfielder in the history of the game has had a better AFL experience than what Ryan Crowley has?

He’s played on (Chris) Judd one week and then Jobe Watson, Sam Mitchell and Gary Ablett Jr.”

Subiaco made an unsuccessful bid to sign Crowley, who won a WAFL premiership with the Lions in 2004."

They have obviously made good use of their unfair corporate deals from Subi oval, thankfully that will end in 2017

No wonder he chose Swans then if he wants to expand his interest in coaching and "Developing" players because that kind of experience he wont get at $ubi!!

Who have we poached Crowley from ?
He isn't a Subi player, we don't pay you a transfer fee so not sure what you are in about.
The selling point for Crowley was being the midfield coach as well at Swans.
Currently Subi are making continued offers for Davis and Tropiano, Perth and Swans are not trying to poach Subi players so you must be confused with what is happening.
