I for one am sick of hearing about losers like this who are given chance after chance and continue to give the clubs that help them and society the bird.
There are plenty of kids out there who would kill for the opportunities he has had.

Seeya later good luck with the rest of your life, now we can move on and invest time and resources into players/people who deserve it and appreciate it.

yeah MO, that goes without saying......but none of us here are family and we are not talking about what their respective families think..... come end of the day majority of footy fans only know of Cousins & Garlett through their footy deeds..

...do you think the family of the fella Kraks got jailed for assaulting in 2006, think Kraks is a decent citizen because of his his 2010 SDFC deeds?.... bet all you SD boys think differently ...... why is that?.....

not too sure how these two boys paths are remotely similar TBH.....Cousins on field career, in terms of stats/accolades, is one 95% of past/ present AFL players, will never ever get close to.....though one could easily say the same thing about his off field stats as well!

No bad egg mentioned Freeze...all I was indicating is he has the same problem and if you know the Ben Cousins story then that should be clear to you as to the big issue for Dayle....same massive issue society (especially in WA where use is chronic) faces with regards to this substance which to be honest in the social circles I swing (stockbroking & money market fraternity being by far the worst of the lot) this behavior is the norm. The only difference being I've never come across blokes that indulge then feel the need to go steal cars, do burgs etc. I guess that's the bit where the group around you matter. Another sad story here but he made his choices and will now have to live with them for some time by the looks of things. He can't say he wasn't warned. Many tried but this kid never wanted to listen.

As for your Ben Cousins comments these are my thoughts. I am to this day absolutely astonished as to what Ben Cousins achieved on the field whilst harboring his off field demons. The particular substance he was/is addicted to is by no means a performance enhancer, to the complete contrary in reality. How he managed to remain amongst the elite and play with such high output for so long with his habit is beyond my comprehension. A truly remarkable footballer who may have cheated himself out of even higher performance levels but I guess only he can answer that.

This pisses me off soooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

What I would have given to get an opportunity like he did and go play our great game at the highest level (Even after he stuffed it up and got another shot)and make good coin plus have kids wear your number on their jumpers. One kid last year didn't get drafted cos a pick was wasted on him!!! Instead he smoked his dream and his ability to get away from his habit and dead s$%^& mates away.

Do you think Garlett might look back now and think "oh jeez that could have been me yesterday?"

Please be aware I have removed the offending post.

mmmmmm really think a few posts on the Perth thread regarding prospective coaches should be removed by the Oz Footy Admin team then......pretty sure fella's like Harvey, Woewodin, Micale et al wouldn't be too happy seeing their names being linked or bandied around as the next Perth coach :pinch: .....surly a few legal boundaries have been crossed there guys?.....more legally damaging than Jackfrost telling us who's poppin a few pills within the WAFL fraternity...surely? ;)

Ok I'll redo that. I know of certain players from a certain team in a certain sporting competition somewhere in Australia that partake in certain weekend entertainment.
Certain supporters of certain clubs should be careful slinging mud at other certain clubs. A well timed call to certain authorities would decimate said team.
