Beasley Hutton wrote: You are being far too kind Mike. The WAFL tribunal is a farce as is the process of sighting players or put on NOI. Last week in the ABC televised game Wulff laid a late head high bump/hit on Aaron Black that I was staggered was not even put up to be looked at. And tonight another WART player in Tunbridge gets off with just a reprimand. Just a question have any WART players been suspended this year???

Not sure BH. I remember Schofield from EP/WCE was reported for absolutely poleaxing Faulkner from Swans in the first game of the season at Leederville. I saw the incident and was amazed to hear that he had got off. Does seem to be different rules for the aligned clubs and my bet is that Silvagni will be let off with a reprimand even though his transgression appears to have been worse than Swoops from the comments made here.

Sorry my mistake, he hit Aiden Anderson but he got off because there was no clear video footage of the incident.....

Beasley Hutton wrote: Another question I have Mike is in regard to that goon Worobec who laid the ridiculous absolutely laughable report on Jetta which has subsequently been withdrawn and also I might add cost Swans a goal.
Are they finally going to send him to Widgiemooltha to umpire as the amount of mistakes this one clown makes are making the whole WAFL look like a farce, none more so than at the Showgrounds 2 weeks earlier where he refused to pay a free kick against Bradshaw who jumped about an hour too early going for a speccie kicked Howard in the back in the process taking him out of the contest whilst he also didnt get within 5m of laying a glove on said attempt yet was called play on in which Murphy kicked the subsequent goal in a game that ended 3 points the final difference. A staggering non decision to say the very least!

BH The W word should not be used in polite company. I think take the pea out of his whistle would be better; it wouldn't affect us and he would be able to award the same number of free kicks to the opposition as he does to us!!!!!

Ha I see my Wulf has been at the head highs again.. I personally saw 2 players taken off on a stretcher last year 1 from WP and 1 from SF game because of Wullf
and there was another incident the same all from his Elbow. Even one of the guys on WAFL WORLD called him IRON ELBOW that says it all...

Now back to this weeks tribunal. I kept the page up hoping to get a result on Silvagni and still nothing? I notice there is a colt player still pending as well?

Strange that such a simple decision could not be made from the Tribunal from what I heard on 91.3 calling the game (shit hope the WAFL doesnt stop them broadcasting :)

So Wednesday has arrived and awaiting a result. I suggest the Tribunal are in a bit of a flutter and being a AFL player they are trying to see a way out. It smells and I feel they also have some pretty heavy legal eagle (excuse the pun) representing Silvangi. While these players are playing WAFL the bottom line is they get treated the same as a WAFL player (e.g Geappen etc)

Will be interesting to see the result and dont be surprised if it isnt a Reprimand!!!

Heres the List of players who have fronted.. and the results..
Maybe the guy updating hasnt got around to it yet? B)
At least we didnt have any Broken jaws like we have in the past and they were dismissed due to lack of evidence yet I know of one incidence in the WP player case where a neutral witness was will to come forward but they never called him up.
That WP player was never the same after that and was looking good. He has since discontinued playing Footy. The other player was Shaw from SF?

Hope your coach has practiced ducking and evading this week and watch out for Wullf of course the AFL guys dont have to worry about WHAT THEY DO
And lets hope Mr Worobec doesnt do your game but we had him for 4 games in a row so you guys deserve that to.... Sorry

I think the attitudes on this thread by the usual subjects demonstrate how weak the game has become. Personally I have not seen any incident worth a report in the WAFL this season. I guess I just come from an era when it was a man's game watched by men.

Yes nasty pot holes in those days. I'm sure the Weagles would want to inspect it before they release there talent for the match.

Larry the one that sticks in my mind and was obviously the subject of pressure from the Freo FC was early in the year Subi v Peel Dockers at centrelink stadium where Sylvia king hit ... sorry coward hit Mahoney about 30m behind play. Mahoney was carried off, badly concussed had to be driven home and missed the following game. Umps saw it he was reported and offered 4 weeks. He/freo decided to challenge it at the tribunal and surprise surprise on the eve of the tribunal hearing he was mysteriously offered two weeks without any new evidence offered or hearing from the reporting umpire. Any reasonable person would have to assume that undue pressure was brought to bear by the AFL club.

How about a big win by the ducks and a chance to finish top? Doesn't really matter, the 2nd Semi final is all but locked in to be played at Leedy

I didn't see that incident but sounds worthy of at least a report.
