Morabito and Jones are the only names in the Peel lineup that would worry Swans. They should win by 10+ goals.

Off the mark there Barney, Thornton kills us every time, Garlett racks it up. Tabener and Wood dangerous up forward and Sylvia should be too good for wafl. Griffen whilst returning from a knee is rucking against Blakely who has hardly played and struggles.
Peel had worse teams last year and we struggled to beat them for some reason

Big difference is that EP Eagles have a top shelf coach but Peel have a totally unproven bloke. EPE were near full strength last week but PDorks will be short some AFL listed blokes so the door is open for the Swannies if they bring the same game as last week.

You are kidding yourself if you don't think tonight's emergencies won't be on the plane coming home to play for Peel tomorrow. Expect a much stronger opposition than that named.

Last week ERT were pretty much full strength, this week with injuries and suspensions FART will lose a heap of players. They have a couple in doubt too so 24-25 might travel. You'll probably get the old Peel I reckon and destroy them

Will take them down anywhere anytime

Them sounds like fighting words

Tongue in cheek Barney or can u elaborate on ur scoreline prediction. 1st game for 2014 for me & I'm expecting a close game considering both teams scorelines v EP, with not much else to go on as I haven't watched the first 2 rounds due to work commitments.

I think most Swans supporters realise that with the team at its current stage of development, we will get some inconsistency during the season. Big test tomorrow for the guys to bring the same effort to this game.

Heading down tomorrow with high hopes mikeh. Curious as to why 10+ goal SD win would be predicted by a supporter of the club that has played both these teams already.
Did read that the kid Faulkner not only had a great game but kicked a goal last week from outside 50m, clear indicator of major improvement. If he gets his disposal right this year will be an absolute gun for us . Boekhorst was strong too by all reports and as I said early in the pre season, he looked like he may just have that something special and fingers crossed be the player who really steps up the grade this year. Will be great if they both click

Exactly right. East Perth have quality players in all three areas to compliment the aligned players. Peel just don't have that many and have no depth at all in the reserves. Good chance one aligned side will win the premiership and the other will win the spoon.

I will be confident when we play Peel next weekend.

I see 35 points is the winning margin. A great effort by Swans in the 2nd half whereby they seemed to push the ball forward at every opportunity. If they keep the second half momentum from today going for the remainder of the season, they'll be hard to stop.
