The money being offered by country teams close to the metro area will be a bigger problem for the WAFL than the alignment over the next five years. Have heard of reserves players being offered $500 a game to go bush.

Exactly and Lange was/is a lifelong Swans fan too anyway who couldn't wait to play for SD..Subi don't have anything coming through and get the cheque book out every time

I reckon you have been way too generous with those names as being "poached" MO-
Anderson was in England (Personally training Elle) the years before he played at Swans
Lange walked out on $ubi in 97 & went to play for Sturt in SA before getting drafted to NM then came back home to his beloved SD as Swandog has alluded too
Riggio came back after being delisted from NM to study in the Northern Suburbs of Perth so he was never going back to Peel
Hams had left SF and was going to play at Busselton when Swans picked him up 4 weeks into the 2011 season
Elari had been trying to play at Swans for 2 years before he eventually got here
Rogers wasnt even wanted by Perth!
So really the only players Swans have poached from other WAFL clubs in the last 10 years have been Spandaa (another lifelong Swans fan I might add) and Hilda who has gone back to $ubi after originally being "poached" by them from Peel!

BH how many of those SD kids you mentioned to me a few weeks ago,who got drafted in droves during that golden period from 2007-2009, which depleted SD playing stocks, are actually back at SD or even on an AFL list these days?......
