I agree MO ..with all of the recent departures (who have been either AFL players, State Players, high in club fairest & best voting's etc) and with you would expect 3 certainly drafted on Thursday the club should be in for around a $200k windfall one would think!

as long as the club has a plan and lets the members and supporters know what is going on then i have no problem if they not offering big money to blokes to play, they can then use the clearance money and draftee money to help sort out whatever problems they have..
but it wouldnt want to go on for too long otherwise supporters and sponsors will drop off..

some young blokes in the reserves will be getting their chances in 2014, that is for sure..some showed some promise, whether they can step up to league who knows..

those blokes are leaving cos Swans cant afford them, that is obvious to blind freddy
lammie left cos he was told to go through the reserves after injury, Lobb was a better rukcman anyway and showed that by putting his name up as a draft certainty this week

Things have not been right for a while now.

Kraks aside we have had all of those blokes that are now leaving with us over the last 3 years and havent managed to win a Final so why would we still offer up good money to them for no end result?
Makes good business sense to me to sell them off now whilst they still have good currency because if we dont they wont be worth anything at 28yo+!!
I still thank them all for their good service over the years but its time for a new group to step up to the plate!

cos he owned horses with the ex president who signed him up for 2 years a few weeks before he got the flick himself !

If Lammie is off to SF that would be huge for us. I've noticed a few on here listing Hams as a definate out. Is that even confirmed or speculation? And if he is leaving SD doesn't mean he will be at SF as he left to go to the country 2 years back although we would very much like to have him with his brother for a few years =)

Lammie is a battler, can run all day but thats it..
whatever Swans get for him is a bonus, he did used to carve South up though..
