Bloody hell dog, the only way you swans people will be happy is when the free count is Swans 120, opposition 0. I thought the umps did their job as if they were tuning up for the finals. They let a lot go for you blokes and let a lot go for us - just as you want it in finals. To add to that, when they missed one for you blokes, the Swans crowd near me wanted the umps executed, but when they missed one for us, it was "yeah, good decision". You guys want it both ways. Anyway, well done today umps
One thing you have to agree on though, while the skills aren't as good as the AFL, the game itself is easier to watch without some of the mamby pamby interpretations..

I reckon our footy is better than AFL mate! Its not all about silky pristine skill on manicured surfaces, but what was pristine was Garlett effortlessly baulking around Henson on the outer side and made him look silly, and as my mate next to me advised him it was all caught on TV for our statewide audience! ..Good crowd today too

Mate the best footy I have seen from a side this year apart from when we beat Claremont at Claremont was when SF beat EF in the derby on Foundation Weekend, South have a bit to look forward to

Gee 58 you couldn't hear a pin drop when Young was shoved square in the middle of the back & the umps missed it. Even the Swans supporter standing next to me said that it was bullshit. We both saw a lot of stuff that was missed both ways by the umps. Although the umps bug me at times I would need to be paid a heap of dough to be in their shoes.

Yah mate, I saw the Youngie one as well, but you gotta suck it up because you know the footy gods even everything up over a season. No ump likes to make a mistake and like I said to my grandson today, it's very easy from the outer, but not so on the field!

BH....hope you enjoyed today as much as I did....good to see the boys dig deep when it looked like it could go either way although if we had of kicked straight throughout the game we'd be talking about a massacre right now. Hope in some way that makes up for me missing the Claremont game last week and as a little indicator as to next week's game against the GM's I promise to be there bringing the joy!!!!!! Good to see a decent crowd down at Basso lapping up the sunshine today so big-ups to the black & white brigade.

Freezin...as was said to me today by my smart arse sharks supporting boss when I told at him at 1/4 time that Embers only had to start kicking straight and it would be game over "put a photo of a naked blokes arse behind the goals and he will nail it every time". (p.s.- before fellow black ducks lynch me for posting that u should know I've been great mates with Andrew since childhood and he'd expect nothing less of me)
