Swans getting back towards full strength with the inclusion of Pasini and Hilton for Saturdays game. Also Erceg and Bright have been named in the ressies.
Can't really fault the players effort in the games I have seen. Its their skills that have let them down and cost them victories in the past few weeks. They must try and find a way to score more than 7 goals on Saturday although it will be interesting to see the impact of the predicted wet weather

So far in the 4 games this season our scores have been-
8.7 (55)
6.6 (42)
8.10 (58)
6.12 (48)
And when I look at the side the selectors pick week in week out I wonder how on earth we are going to even get close to kicking what I consider should be the target for each game (100 points).
For far too long our focus has been on defending instead of scoring!

Great having Hilton, Pasini and Taylor back in defence - we might keep EF to four and win with our usual seven or eight - while Watson on a wing is a better option to improve pace on the centre-line than Chipper and Kelly that are emergencies.

Smith had a rough one last week after playing well against SF, but Caporn would be a sounder choice to improve the goal scoring opportunities tomorrow.

LOL SH, if we keep the Sharks to 4 goals, I will go up to the Swans bar and get absolutely hammered for the first time in many years

A tough watch. East Freo far too good. Swans heading for the wooden spoon I fear. No system, only one forward, skills not up to WAFL standard, how quickly it has all fallen apart after the preliminary final appearance last season.
Well done to the Reserves for remaining unbeaten

Whats the definition of insanity?
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Will someone please inform the SDFC of the above quote!

We are so far off the pace it is frightening at the moment.
We are virtually getting next to nothing from 70% of the League team and I will have no hesitation in naming names either!

If you needed any more information as to how out of touch this club is at the moment then all you had to do was go up stairs into the members bar yesterday where the ladies day was given full license to the area and had music blasting all afternoon, at a level that you couldn’t have a normal conversation. Not only this but the bar staff, and girls in attendance seemed to have exclusivity to being served first and many weekly attendees were left standing and waiting for extended periods to even be acknowledged. When one or 2 people said something about the noise and the service they were greeted with a response that lacked any sense of care or understanding. It’s little wonder the crowd numbers are dropping in alarming fashion. Not only is the style of football unwatchable and unsustainable but the vibe in and around the club has a stench at the moment that I’ve not seen for a long time. Im not privy to the details but something is definitely going on behind the scenes that is adding to the unrest.

On field it same shit, different week!

The body language of the players is horrible. If there isn’t a circuit breaker somewhere in the club very soon then the damage being done won’t just be limited to this year!

I take no pleasure in the Swans sitting at the bottom of the ladder Danger. But regarding ladies day a bit of noise and music is a small price to pay. Perth had theirs as well and the bar after the game was packed and very very noisy. Saying that you have a better set up to us where you can watch the game from the inside bar. Our girls had a temp stand set up on the outer and only came in after the game - maybe that would be a better idea for the Swans.

A lot of bar staff just hired from an agency and most of the temps are pretty ordinary - some struggle to pour a proper beer. A
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

7 losses in a row now with no end in sight.
If there is not crisis meetings taking place right now then they might as well just pack the mens team up now and just become a community hub!

BH this is just the history of our club.
We develop a premiership window team every 20 years. In modern day Wafl that will be a small window.
Not like 1961,62,63. Or 1982-83-84.
In between thoes 20 year gaps.We spend most of our time on the bottom of the ladder. Some competitive teams in between thoes 20 year eras.
Like 1974-75,.1980-81......1990........1991-92--93--94-2016 2024.And the build up to the 2010 GF.2007-08-09.
And yesterday was historic Swans.Watched the game on 7.Did we have 1500  at the game.At least 50% of our fans disapear. And wont come back till we start winning again. We could have another 5 years of this.
This is 90 years of the Swan District's football club.
