Great analysis Danger, can we get you on the coaching staff?
I think the prospects of Turner playing another game are very slim. Even if we make the Grand final, its too much of a risk to take in a sore player, even though Jesse is very gutsy and would work through it. You don't want him doing more damage either.
If JGM is not fit ( anyone know what his injury is?) I agree Caporn would be a better bet because of his versatility.
Once we find out who we are playing the planning will start.
If we happen to play Peel again, the coaching staff will have to be very clear to the players that whilst the temptation will be to go for Grey, the main object is to win the game and not be distracted by what happened in Mandurah last week. Go hard at the ball and don't get caught up with thoughts of revenge. Easier said than done as the crowd will no doubt be giving it to him all day

The Erceg move made no sense and then to move Pasini forward when he is vital down back made it worse.
Great effort yesterday but trying to take so many risks on a shifting surface opened the door.
Too much pressure on Kohlman after 1/4 time and the royals double teamed him.
Having Hewett, Chipper and Kelly all in the same side makes us too slow, Cartwright at least can add some pace.

The report was in the 3rd quarter on the scoreboard wing, where O’donohue gave off a handball and ran into a seemingly stationary Jones, and the issue will be the grading of the rough conduct charge. If it is deemed low and contact to the head and body it’s a 1 week base sanction, down to a fine or reprimand with an early plea.Same scenario for medium contact to the body, but Medium high contact would see a 2 week penalty which can only be brought back to 1 with an early plea, which I might add are all in the careless conduct category, because if the tribunal deems the conduct intentional,we may have a problem.

I was led to believe that JGM was carrying a groin.

Just to clarify re Doc/Germs. I don’t think Doc will be 100% this coming week and a fresh Germs will give us a different look. If we are then lucky enough to get through Blakely will be all the better for the week off into the GF. If Blakely plays this week and we get through I think his impact will be far less having been run into the ground in the last month. I fully understand the fact about getting into the GF first but looking in from afar I feel we need to take a few risks at selection and a few risks in game.

I was very surprised that Peel won. Claremont seemed to be all over them in the last quarter but allowed them back in the game with poor kicking for goal.
As I said before Peel will try and suck us into fights so we need to focus on winning the ball. All that matters is that we are in front on the scoreboard at the end of the day. I think all supporters need to get behind the team and support them rather than over focussing on abusing Grey and other Peel players. They will feed off the negativity and use it as motivation so the best thing to do would be to ignore them and get in behind the boys.
I reckon just about every non Peel supporter will be barracking for us next Sunday.

that is exactly what happened as the players went to leave the paddock at the half time break and it has been a common thread by the looks , its a VFL thing
