Great performance by the reserves team to win 8 out of their first 9 games to sit on top of the ladder. We will have one team to cheer for in this years finals series at least.
Even more remarkable considering the amount of injuries we have had to our best 25 during this season.
Anderson, Notte, Clarke, Fisher, Jones, Erceg, McLachlan, Ireland, Bright, Spackman, Blakely, Germs, Ottaviano, Bayok, Ehlers etc have all missed multiple games with injury plus the only 2 players we have had on report in O'Donoghue & Kemp got suspensions which is incredible in itself considering some of the stuff that has only warranted a "reprimand" and or "nothing to see" from the supposed independent tribunal! I saw on the TV game last week one of the most blatant and dangerous trips in living memory with a player sticking his leg out to stop Worner of Peel in full flight and yet donuts came from the MRP sheesh!!!

You must have been tickled pink with delight at the umpires performance at Bassendean yesterday BH. 17 free kicks to 4 at half-time, 21 to 6 at 3 qtr time. Predictably the umps gave us a few more free kicks in the last qtr to make it 24 to 12 by the end of the game. The last free kick was there that won you the game but the one prior on the wing was not that got the ball down there. More like holding the ball.

Let's hope the independent MRP will take a look at that entire game. In particular the regular reward for ducking to attract a high tackle, deliberate out of bounds not paid and a soccer by a Perth player that would have been lucky to travel 10 metres awarded a mark to a Swans player for a shot on goal.

It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Never really noticed them yesterday DD.
Perth's obvious tactics of "playing the man" might have contributed, I certainly didnt see anything that wasnt unwarranted.
I am more concerned with our own form and disgraceful kicking at goal tbh!

Lol you are quick to point the finger at the umps when the count is against you and you lose. The only time one of our players went the man was Corey Byrne hitting your player high when he was in the ground and the ball was out of bounds. A poor act by Burner that he will cop a week or two for but I'm guessing that was retaliation or frustration. Either way he let himself and his teammates down.

Noticed you guys talking about umps.Did you realise at the Royals and sharks game their were four field umpires compared to three field umpires at all other wafl games yet we had the least free kicks of any game.
on another point swannies must be rueing the close losses you have had this year.Could be in the four otherwise.I suppose a close game had to go your way eventually.

Nor I. The only thing clear to me was another Swans' attempt at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory (that they failed to do), and Perth's inability to mark the ball.
