Well it all comes down to this game if we want to keep our season alive and play Finals footy in 2022.
We travel down to Mandurah to take on a side stacked with Fremantle boys who have had a minimal injury list all year compared to their afl buddies at WCE.
This game was originally scheduled to be played on the Saturday with the other 4 WAFL games but was secretly moved to midday on the Sunday which is Fathers Day too I might add about a month ago.
Now the sceptic in me would possibly think there might be a conspiracy behind that eg with Fremantle playing on the Saturday night at the latest with the way the afl schedule their Finals it would allow Peel to play all of the Fremantle emergencies and the medi-sub if sparingly used with a finals spot on the line for Peel as well.
But anyways we digress whoever Peel put out on the park it is going to be a tough task to travel down there and win especially after our own bruising encounter with WP on the weekend.
We might be a couple of guys down too whilst Peel seem to be close to full strength at the moment and we will again have a huge discrepancy in experience compared to our opponents this week.
Hopefully we bring some of the spirit and resilience we have shown at times during the year to Mandurah at midday on Sunday!

Yes, the very best of luck next Sunday BH. I think all traditional WAFL club supporters will be hoping for a Swans win but as you say, it'll be a tough ask which certainly hasn't been helped by Freo once again manipulating the WAFL fixtures to suit themselves. I'm not sure if Swans had to agree to moving the game to Sunday but can't imagine it would have gone down too well.

Swans raised it and were told bad luck, also the issue that in the unlikely event swans win they have a day less break than whoever finishes 4th the week after.
I bet the wafc clowns will be all at Optus on Saturday night with a care factor of zero for the wafl

the whole thing is a complete joke. Swans players have busted their guts out all year to get to this point and now are treated like this by the WAFC. I personally will not be going to this match as I feel it is a complete stitch up and I would rather spend my time with my children on Fathers Day. My thoughts will be with the boys and I hope it is a lousy weekend for the Fremantle Dockers.

A lot will depend of the Freo v Bulldogs final, imo. If Freo don't progress to the second week of the finals. They may pull players out of the Sunday match V Swans.
If they win they will want Peel alive in the finals as long as Freo are playing.
.However Freo have always been more serious about the performance of there Wafl side.Compared to West Coast.

I'm not sure that's right GTR unless things have changed under Peter Bell as back in 2016 Freo won 4 games all year and finished 16th. They still managed to parachute 17 players into the Peel side for the GF against Subi and the rest is history. Also, I have no doubt the WAFC tried to give Peel every opportunity to win a flag given the free kick count that day was 19 to 6 with Subi getting one free kick after quarter time. Anyway, if Swans win it all becomes a moot point.

As gtrx says it will be interesting to see if WBD beat Freo on Sat, what team Peel will throw out v SD on the Sunday.....will it be as stacked?.....once Freo are out of the finals, pretty sure that rules out Peel showcasing as many Freo boys......what's the limit Peel can pick, if Freo don't progress after Sat?.....

Hopefully SD haven't played their final v WP, that was a huge performance, considering SD disappointing display v EF the week before....if Peel do get over SD, I reckon SF are the best team to roll Peel in the elimination final if Freo are still going....though I don't think any side really wants to meet Peel with Freo still kicking.

Freeze I think I heard they are unlimited while Freo are in the finals but limited to 12 once they are out. With heavy rain forecast for Saturday there's every chance of a Doggies win as Freo don't turn up if it's wet.

Go Doggies!!!

Hopefully that rain continues into Sunday because I reckon we have won virtually every game in the wet this year including last weekend.
