Time to get back on the bike this weekend after yet another bye as we take on the WCER at Basso.
Hopefully we go in to this game with a recognised ruckman as Jamieson will dominate the tap outs and give their mids first use of the ball if we try part timers again like we did against Claremont.
I think Germs is still a few weeks away from returning, hopefully Ireland is fit to come back and or we pick Morris to lead the ruck to at least try and halve the ruck battle.
Not sure if any of the other injured players like Palmer, Erceg, Collins, Beck etc are right to go this week whilst E.Hewett should come back in after the 18s campaign.

BH, if Subi can beat a fairly well loaded WCER by around 4 gaols, you blokes will win by 10++.

Swans can't afford to slip up in this game. When they last played WCE, they went in with a lackadaisical attitude and found themselves 4 goals down at half time. Luckily they were able to retrieve the situation that day but they must play with much more intensity from the start this time and also try and build up some percentage which may be crucial in terms of qualification for finals. Will also be keeping an eye on the SF v Peel match with  the hope that the Doggies give them a flogging!

Is Frank Anderson any chance of returning or would he needed to have played a minimum no of games anyway?

JF I would say virtually no chance of Frank returning to play this year...and on the qualification he doesnt need to have played any games as he has still been on our list all season but injured obviously from last seasons final.

He suffered the injury in early September last year and has no doubt been getting back to fitness via running for the league team and training. However I think it would better for him to do a full preseason and aim for round 1 2023 rather than trying to rush a comeback this year.

No Patterson for WCER on the weekend fellas, plus West also gone for the season.....SD really need to win and win well v WCER on Sat.......60 pt win minimum I reckon is what SD need......% will be a deciding factor in those final spots. Sets up a huge 8 pt game v EF the following week.....will definitely go down to the final round.....hopefully some how Peel can be squeezed out......need SF and SD to do that I reckon, as Peel play WCER in between those two games.

Freeze West Coast have been quiet competitive vs Swans the last few matches.
