Now that was a game of football, outstanding to watch and congratulations to Swans for a great win against a really good Claremont side,
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Brilliant game to watch. Claremont had the better of the 1st and 3rd quarters and Swans the 2nd and last. Swans just had a little more in the tank at the end. The AFL draft recruiters would have been salivating at the high standard of play with Van Rooyen, Sheldrick and Benning for the Tigers and Bazzo, Jenkin and Cartwright standouts for Swans. Plenty of others played their part as well and it was a real arm wrestle with never more than a few goals in it all day. A great achievement by Swans to come from wooden spoon to premiers in one year and it gives me great confidence that we are finally heading in the right direction for on field success at league level within the next few years.

Congrats to Swan's Colts and Swan's Coach John Armstrong on a wonderful gutsy win against a quality team.
Well done the mighty Black and Whites!!!

Congrats to Swans. Hopefully a few of the boys stay on and move through the system into league. The colts comp is so fickle in that team lists turn over so much every year. Subi won the flag last year and could hardly win a game this season but in saying that, quite a few who played league yesterday came through from the colts premiership of 2019 so here's hoping the same goes for Swans.

Well done Swannies and to your Coach especially. I love that the Swans board flipped the bird to the WAFC who wanted to sanction the club because Armstrong had not completed some coaching qual, but then has an almost perfect home and away season and leads your boys to a flag. The commission is so out of touch, the only thing they did right was to switch the grannies back to Optus and away from some derelict suburban ground.

Another cracking game of Colts finals footy on Saturday at the best stadium in the Southern Hemisphere.
There really was not much difference in the quality of the Top 4 sides SD, CL, EP & EF which was proven with an absorbing finals series with every final going right down to the wire.
A terrific last qtr (much like our Rd22 battle) saw us get up in the end in what was a great spectacle of WA footy, 12 goals apiece plenty of fast flowing end to end ball movement and very exciting footy to watch.
Claremont as always are a very talented Colts side with many future stars especially Van Rooyen who was good in their League team early in the year before finishing back in the Colts and really showing his class against his peers.
A great performance from Swans Colts to come from last (2-6) in last years Mickey Mouse Cup to Premiers with a similar squad to 2020 but with John Armstrong taking over as Coach fairly late in proceedings and coaching the young men superbly to a 17-2 record.
I thought we looked pretty good in the pre season with a 20 goal win vs SF at Fremantle with the likes of Taylor, Middleton, Sibosado etc dominating but unfortunately all of those lads missed the GF with injury, but never thought they would go on to have such a great year.
Hopefully most of the boys go on to have great footy careers at SD or higher.

Congratulations to the Perth Reserves on their Premiership win and to Matty Rogers on his retirement who all SD fans loved in his time at Basso and once again to Subi in the League who were just far too strong again in the big moments in the big games when it counted.
