Congrats to your boys BH. I saw the last half and agree it was a free flowing spectacle and something the seniors can learn from to get the crowds involved. I also thought your captain spoke very well for a young bloke during the presentations so nice work all around.

Agree BC it was a great game of football. There will be a lot of AFL careers coming out of that game. What a shame Steve Bazzo is no longer with us taken far too young. He would have been so proud of his son Rhett Bazzo.

I watch a bit of the replay of the Colts GF great game but at around the 20.30 mark of the 2nd qtr the umpires gave out a caution for a breach of the density rule, who was the caution given to? Hope it wasn't Swans after their indignant tirade re the 2018 Colts GF.

The warnings for anti density happen on a regular basis in colts, what subi did in 2018 was something completely different.
Before the 6 6 6 rules in footy you could obviously play loose men in defence but it was an unwritten rule not to do it in colts, especially at a centre bounce.
Swans hit the front late and didn’t do it then Subi got back in front and had 2 loose ,em at the next bounce.
Before the game both clubs were told if they did this then penalties would apply, subi took no notice and surprise surprise no penalty.

Although I don't agree with what we did, there is a big difference between guidelines and actual rules, when it comes to being able to enforce penalties

Which is why no penalty was enforced, disappointing that Wardman elected to put himself above the interests of development football but that’s life.
That the clowns at the wafc decided to be so petty towards Armstrong and Swans this year is disappointing but not surprising to anyone
