Another home game this time against SF who are coming off a good win against the top of the ladder Claremont last week.
This was the missed game/round due to one of the early lockdowns back in late April.
Our Ressies & Colts havent played for 3 weeks by the time this game comes around.
SF are strong across all lines- defence, midfield & forwards so we will have our work cut out for us and will have to play 4 strong qtrs for a change to cause a huge upset here as I dont think we have beaten SF since 2015?

Massive opportunity for Swans to show the progress they have made this year and reinforce their finals credentials. We need victories against teams like South Fremantle to develop the boys confidence that we are in finals on our merits rather than just making up the numbers

Great to see local WA company Steel Blue have recommitted for another 3 years to their ground sponsorship at Steel Blue Bassendean Oval taking it past 20 years in total.

Ted its a no brainer to do so, he cant handle a hard tag and usually loses the plot, that is when he's not ducking, but if you let him play his own game he will take you apart.

Did not think we would win by that much being very honest - Swan Districts are bloody hard at Bassendean 
and they will be hoping Claremont bowl over Mandurah to keep the 3 game buffer intact tomorrow

Swans are pretenders. Every time they have met a team playing decent football this year they have gone to water. Schloithe and Suban must have BO. None of our guys went anywhere near them all day. The 6 goal margin flattered Swans and you've got to remember that South had some of their key players missing and they still toyed with us.

mate we do have a few out so to get the 4 points by 6 goals is pretty valuable - let us just hope Claremont don't lose their third in a row tomorrow hey?

I guess it will depend on how many the Dockers withdraw from the Peel team. They copped quite a few injuries on Thursday so they may hold a number back. Whatever the outcome, my view is that the 5th placed team whether it be Swans or someone else will be simply making up the numbers based on what I saw today.
